What the hell do you have to lose?

Good question.
"You're living in poverty, your schools are no good, 58% of your youth are unemployed -- what the hell do you have to lose?" Trump asked the audience in an unscripted moment from a speech in which he otherwise stuck to his teleprompter. He accused Clinton of wanting to give jobs to refugees rather than unemployed African-Americans in the US, saying they have "become refugees in their own country."

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump on Friday continued his outreach to African-American voters, presenting them with a stark question: "What the hell do you have to lose?"

Speaking in Dimondale, Michigan -- a predominantly white suburb of Lansing -- Trump lamented the collapse of American manufacturing and criticized free trade deals as he laced into Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party, saying they are taking black voters for granted.

Clinton fired back Friday evening in a tweet, writing, "This is so ignorant it's staggering."

Whether you like Trump or not, he has the problem pegged. Clinton has sucked up to the blacks for years but has done nothing to change their lives for the better. Democrats have driven away business by regulating and taxing. Hence, no jobs.

Clinton's talk is just that; talk and no action. Trump could not possible do worse.

Not just Clinton but all the Dems have held blacks down since Jefferson.

Paul Manafort was a complete fiasco as campaign manager. He was wheedling bureacrat, political insider and manipulator.. who completely diverted the Trump campaign into placating the Republican Establishment, which failed catastrophically, instead of establishing a unique electoral franchise from independents and disaffected voters of both parties.

Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway and Roger Ailes.. his new team.. seem much less respectful of conventional rules.. and much more ruthless in making a case. The only guy he can't get rid of is Mike Pence.. who is a Monafort asset and who has been almost invisible in the campaign. Another guerilla fighter like Chris Christie would have been far more useful.

However, Trump has one major advantage.. Hillary Clinton.. is an absolute disaster in the making. I predict Trump will start to pull ahead in September and October.. and will pull out a convincing win, if not a landslide, in November.. led by desperate voters in the growing rustbelts and crumbling cities in America.
