Well Mowich the series is now tied up. I thought the Pens had a few chances to put this game on ice in the first but Montreal was covering Crosby and Malkin both pretty tightly. As the game went along I thought Montreal was gaining confidence and their penalty killing was awsome.

And you would be right on the money with that last statement, juan. I was really disappointed with the Kid tonight. Sure he had one or two players on his back a lot but he didn't skate well and threw a hissy fit over a perceived (not) penalty.

The Habs simply played better and deserved the win, hard as it is to swallow. :-(

I'm taking detroit over San Jose tonight. However, I'm concerned about Detroit's goaltending. No one named Howard has ever been a good goalie.

San Jose vs Red Wings final: 5 - 4. And that would be for the Sharks.

Better polish your crystal ball, Kres.:lol::lol:

san jose over detroit tonight.
refs again called some stupid non penalties, but detroit
self destructed right near the end of the game, then got
a 'too many men' penalty, blew it.

Back to detroit now, hope they win both of their games there, they played well enough to win both nights, except
for first period of first game.

The Flyers and Bruins are tied 2 - 2 at the end of the second period.

What I know about either of these teams you could put in a thimble. Which is why I hesitate to say that I am not impressed with the Flyers for the simple reason that they act like bullys. That two-timing Savard with shots to the head where only Savard got the penalty was pure unadulturated b**shyte. IMHO.

Less than 8 minutes left in the first period with no score in the game between the Sharks and the Red Wings.

After the first period in Montreal the score is 0 -0. Both teams have had one power play.

well, looks like my beloved red wings will not be going
far in playoffs this season, a hard loss tonight, they
were winning 3-1 in the third, (wasn't watching), next
thing I knew it was 3-3, then in overtime san jose scored,
so wings are down 3 games to zip, and would have to win
four straight, 'not usually done'.

Well, looking at the rosters I see more Canadians on Pittsburgh than on Montreal. Lotsa Euros playing for the Habs, while the Pens are mostly Canadian and American...

My personal feeling is that any team with Bertuzzi on it is doomed, as it should be.

yeah, it will be nice when we know he has retired, should
be soon, he does some good things as a red wing, but he
has the puck taken away from him so many times, and his
skating is definitely slowing down.

I predict that the Philadelphia Flyers are going to win the 2010 Stanley Cup 6-5 over the Black Hawks.
