Was it supposed to remain cold? How did it get to be the coldest point in the Holocene and why should it have remained that way?
When I hear a viable reason why it should have remained cold, I'll go back to team panic.
When it comes to grain, heat is good if there is moisture. If the article was based on "thermal time" through the various stages of growth, it may have credibility.
Extreme weather makes no claim of warming nor is it predictable.
