The World’s Best (and Most Politically Incorrect) Steak

Ya' know....I've had dolphin steaks, and I really wasn't impressed. They look and chew like pork steaks (these were fried), but you sure knew they came from the ocean due to the aroma and taste. I guess it might be one of those "aquired taste" things, and one large steak was more than enough...

teen burned in kfc poutine mishap

Going back to the O.P. .....I believe this whole unfortunate incident could have been avoided with a simple six point restraint system (similar to Formula One) mandatory in all Fast Food Restaurant seating, and a set of water-wings, and a helmet. You can't forget the helmet and the safety...

    Huge New York Steaks

Oh, it's good! I first heard of it years ago while living in the north. It was cheap then too. It's not so cheap anymore, but it's still really good. I'd buy whole lake trout from the canery in Laronge....and this is how they would cook them up there: You'd butter/oil the skin of the fish...

    Huge New York Steaks

Tonight I'll be cooking up some pork sirloin boneless chops ('bout 3kg's of them) and a few chicken breasts to fill out the pan. I use an electric frying pan that measures 14"x18" and is about 3&1/2" deep with a heavy glass lid. I'll season with some coarse-ground back pepper & some SPIKE...

Al Gore: Global warming skeptics are this generation's racist

I thought this Thread would be an audio or video clip pertaining to when Al Gore Popped about a month back (heard the clip on satalite radio) speaking to some group where he was asked questions he didn't want to answer. It was freaky. I found part of it here: Al Gore Goes Crazy On Anti Global...

69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

I live in a bunkhouse, five days a week, with up to five other guys, who's only hot meals are once a day in the evenings in whatever small town bars that have kitchens. On top of that, our food (lunch meats, etc) are in a fridge that only has power from 7am to 7pm-ish while the generator is...

69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

I honestly wasn't looking to start a pissing match, & then leave for the week. We all have access to the interweb, or we wouldn't be here. The same stuff can be found by all of us, and there are three camps it seems. For, against, and on the fence. Sort'a like religion. Weird that, as the O.P...

69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

I'm kind of appalled by statements like "The case is complete" or "The debate is over" when it seems like few, if anyone, truly understands what is happening in this instance. That, I believe, would include many of the scientists quoted or cited on both sides of this thing. I'm assuming things...

69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research

OK....I've just quickly skimmed through this Thread, without reading it in depth. Can we all agree that the climate is changing or is in change? My question is, "When was, if ever, was the planet's climate truly static?"

My favorite is one you took in an old power plant (or something like one). Please excuse my ignorance on the topic, but I think you took three pictures at different light levels & somehow merged them. However it was done....it's way cool!!!
