I tend to agree but that won't gain any traction. I do think that planning and preparation is important and before you can delegate for the "grunts" you need someone to analyze and interpret the big picture and that should be the minister. He won't have much time for that if he's busy kicking...
The marketplace is generally the most effective at handling these sorts of situations. When things get bad, in some cases, people more on to positions with better opertunities.
Yeah, but the ministers don't normally do the "hands on" stuff. There has to be someone who puts their "big girl boots" on and stomps through the ghettos and that might be Mary Ellen Turpel Lafond.
I believe Unions are very important especially in a role of ensuring and improving safety in the work place. Otherwise I believe they should stay away from management, which is the employer's responsibility at his/her expense! :)
It would likely take more than that. "You can fool some of the people all the time and all the people some of the time but you CAN'T fool all the people all the time" :)
Which was wise! Biden made it abundantly clear on Jan. 21 the matter was settled, anyone with half a brain can see you don't piss off the first day you take power and for a considerable time there after.
Biden campaigned on a promise to scrap Keystone and got on it the first day, so I think expecting anything different is futile. Better to save your energy for the ones you might win.
