You have been on this forum long enough to know that Toronto police not too long ago decided to review "Carding" and decided to officially end it! Laws on procedure get reviewed all the time.....at least those that are not embedded in the constitution!

When a cop pulls you over, before he gets out of his vehicle he knows the name of the registered owner of the vehicle the registered address of that owner. All the questions he asks you are to check how honest you are! My daughter once worked for dispatch in Timmins, and I was surprised at all...

I had to provide I.D. to a scrutineer that I had known since my high school days, the last time I voted but I didn't bitch about it. Even the town Mayor had to provide his I.D. at another table close by and he never bitched about it!

The only honest system is paper ballots and in person voting, but you'll never see a Democrat admit to that!
