I think if an offender re-offends while on parole, those sitting on the parole board should do jail time.

Trade you. Hot and Humid here in Toronto.

Yes, traffic disruptions may inconvenience businesses but most also deliver people to the the event which will spend some money as well. In my mind these factors are likely a wash. This leaves the money the government sunk into it in the first place as the only factor.

That is what the British do. Did you watch any of the recent coronation ceremony and parade? Lots of pomp and bluster.

Did not watch the video but ..the fact there is an issue indicates that the sexes are separated in chess. The real question here is why are the sexes separated? If there is no advantage, there should be no reason for separation (which I personally do not see any reason for separation).

Why can't the schedule the fast days in the winter?

They need to apply a tariff on the smoke.

So he is on leave so he can't quit? He has to return to work to quit? Knowing the CBC it is paid leave. All the power to him to rack up the $ while having quit.

I like the NFL timing rules better but there are many games where the final 2 minutes are you watching 3 plays of a QB kneeling down and the clock winding. Montreal should have covered the BC receivers to avoid that completion. I did not watch the game but I suspect they were playing the...

Maybe the Liberals will give him $10 million.

I think the principle is the same for both leagues. I have seen the same called and not called for NFL for similar reasons.

I have seen the discussion on the play and re-watched it a couple times. The player was forced out of bounds by an Ottawa player. He immediately re-entered. This means he was a legal player. Only if he stayed out of bounds or went out on his own would he have been ineligible. The refs got it...

I grew up in SK and visit there yearly in summer to visit my dad. 31-36 does not feel as hot there as here. I wouldn't believe a "feels like" temperature of anything over 39 in SK. On a side note, when did we become so stupid to not be able to understand Humidex is in the summer and Wind Chill...

When you had it your FeelsLike was also 31-36. When we have that in Toronto, the FeelsLike is more like 45-47. Dry heat is much easier.

In the end, it doesn't matter who implements it. If the policy is good, it is good.

Make sense. If people are hot and sticky. they would be more cranky.

They led 7-0 and tied it at 32 with 24 seconds left.

That missed FG Iooked to me the result of poor planning/timing. The Riders were burning the clock and looked ot be trying to snap it when the 20 second clock reached 0. They should have just ran it to 1 and took a timeout or just took a delay of game and kicked it 5 yards back. The result seemed...

It was an exciting game. Riders led almost all game. Up 31-24 they missed a FG to be only up by 8. Argos tied it with 0:24 left. Then in a move that I am sure will be questioned, Argos decided to kick it deep and field only 11 players on the ensuing KO. The result was a Rider touchdown which was...

Having watched my first Argo game of the season, let me say it's going to be a long season. Likely somewhat better once Kelly returns.
