Flu has killed more people in England and Wales than coronavirus. So why are we put into lockdown for coronavirus but not for the flu when flu is deadlier? I don't expect a satisfactory answer to that question from the likes of Serryah.

The difference between flu and covid is that flu kills a lot more children every year, yet we don't get put into lockdown. In fact, the annual child flu deaths are never even mentioned in the media and almost all of us don't even know about it. But then when just two children die of coronavirus...

And I'd point out to them that while four children have died in Britain from coronavirus, 12 children die in Britain on average of the flu every year, but we don't get put into lockdown. Are the lives of coronavirus sufferers worth more than the lives of flu sufferers?

And yet the actual figures - which show that just two children have died from covid in Canada and only around four in Britain - seem to support my article.

Small businesses are forced to close with huge loss of livelihoods, yet big businesses are allowed to stay open. I think there's something fishy going on.

The moral of all this is: It's not the anti-lockdown people who are ignoring the science, it's the pro-lockdown people and governments who are ignoring the science.

Children are not only extremely unlikely to get covid, they're also extremely unlikely to transmit it, too, so the Government here in Britain shutting schools does not make sense and does not follow the science. Millions of children have had their education ruined and their future lives...
