I never left the house today, lol. I have no actual idea. I haven't heard the sound of the snow plow truck, so I assume it's pretty good.
Well we can all complain, but it's usually best to open with the more positive stuff. Lol.

Well I gots to hit the hay, because I have to work tomorrow. Need to bank my time off next week. Will you be around this weekend at all? If so, I'll catch you then.

It's not relaxing but the sense of satisfaction upon completion is the same. At least, for me it is.
It's not so much number crunching. It's like spending the whole day trying to solve a puzzle and fit the pieces together. It is the focus that's required that is so draining.
I did that for many, many years! But let me tell you, just because it's a desk job doesn't mean it isn't a strain. Mental exhaustion can be the worst sometimes!
So shorter, lol. About a 1/3 I'd say. Well, at least I get my exercise, lol.
Is it a shorter walk than I have?
5 to 8? Wow is it even worthwhile going in for 3 hours? That must suck! But it would make a 6 day work week a little more palatable.
Yeah that's a long shift. Yikes. I keep mostly to 7.5 hour days but I'm working tomorrow so 6 days a week is tough.
Oh yes, there is the death hour from 2 til 3 in the afternoon. That's why I usually take a late lunch, lol. Kills part of that time for me.
Remember when an hour was "Oh my God! A whole hour!!!!" Lol. What I wouldn't give to have that perspective again!
It's incredibly noticeable though! I'd always thought I had plenty of time for myself, but these days that seems like a precious commodity.
I am chagrined! LOL. Honestly sometimes I don't know where the time goes! And it's not that I'm all THAT busy, but when you have so many things on your mind it takes forever to unwind! The other night I came home from work and went online to unwind a bit before making dinner, when I looked up it was 9 o'clock!
No, I haven't started the book yet, lol. I can either read the book or watch the DVD on Friday. :D

They repeat A LOT of their programming. More so than the other channels. But sometime they'll have something 'new' and it can be really interesting. Did you mom want any of those books you brought?
A lot of time I'll have the tv on in the back ground if I'm online or playing games on my iPad. But I mostly have it on specialty channels like Food Network or ID Discovery. Because they're specialty they don't really play the big commercials. -
