    Hi, I hear the same...I have a friend who works for one of the local rags and he said McDonnell has stated to him, "I don't care if I win or not"....not a good attitude....I wasn't living here when he was elected in, but people have told me that they voted for him because they liked his wife so much...perhaps he may recieve some "sympathy votes". I myself don't like the guy, and will cast a vote for one of the other 2....will make up my mind after the all candidates meeting at the Tidemark...wow I think there are 17 running for council....lots to choose from! However, I do know of a few that I won't be voting for...Mary Storry is an awesome lady, I tried to get her to run for Mayor...next time maybe?!?

    Oh wow... you're totally right. I had an awesome vacation. I'm still burned out and kind of 'numb' from it all. lol. The sun in Nice was PHENOMENAL. I've never felt anything like that. It was about 27 most days, but felt like 45 wherever the sun touched anything. Incredible.

    Paris was neat to explore. When I've recovered a bit I'll crack open my diary and write up a nice long post about it all.

    Why exactly is the Euro2008 thread closed?

    I thought it would be OK to discuss some of the matches on that thread. And since the numbers are already posted, nobody would be able to change them or cheat in any way.

    Thanks Kreskin, I'm much better today. More in control. I went shopping, bought a new lawnmower, put it together, mowed and raked the front lawn (it was just way too long to mulch the clippings), jumped on the trampoline with my kids, studied, visited... it was a good day.

    Yep... I posed for it alright. If you look really closely, you can see the glimmer of one of my eyes in the shrubbery. lol.
