I can verify it too.... Ever watch the Molson Indy? Count the number of Nissan-powered cars. There's no need for you to be judgemental - especially with your limited knowledge.

Google is your friend
LOL, definitely not the same engine as their production model. Surely you know that.

He said 'the nissan 4 cyl motors are one of the most powerful small
motors on the market, and I can verify that.
' That was the reason for the 'judgemental' response, definitely not 'ignorant'

She said it was powerful. Woopty do. That doesn't say a single damn thing about her driving mannerisms, all it says is she's taken it out on the highway, up a hill, or had to pull out of an intersection once or twice with it. There are more ways to know a car has a decent amount of power for a small engine, than driving like an ass. Yes, IGNORANT response.

No insult was intended, didn't know he was a she, but that don't make any difference.
Anyway there are just as many bad drivers using all types of vehicles, and it is unfair to single out pick-up drivers.

and yet you choose the person who has agreed with that in both her posts to insult, both by insinuating she must be irresponsible, and calling her choice in one of her vehicles a 'crap box'. You are beyond perplexing.

little 4 banger orient pieces of crap.

Risus you don't know what you are talking about. "4 banger Oriental pieces of crap" are better by far than most other engines on the road. The Nissan 2.4 liter four cylinder engine more than adequately powers their Altima mid-sized sedans. When they came out these engines were one of the most advanced out there. Four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing, All the advances were directly from their racing programs. Do some reading Risus.....

There are probably lots out there. Some of these cars ended up as taxis....Some must have that kind of mileage on them.. I know I put well over 350,000 kms on a Datsun 510 over ten years.

On longevity, I'd rate the "crappy" Nissan four-banger right up there with the slant six. On performance ... that tipped over six is a boat anchor (along with some small-block V-8s) My 1.6 litre Nissan had close to a half million km on it before the head gasket went bye-bye. The carbody itself made a fix not worth the money.

My 510 was like a lot of 1974 cars in that after about seven or eight years the fenders started to rust through. By the time I got rid of it, sometime in 85, all the fenders were like lace curtains, but the damn thing still ran.
