Could be a Vauxhall, but the grill is mysterious.

And there are no badges and the hood ornament gives nothing away.

....hmmmm

Scary, I'm dating myself, but I recognize a few of them.

Austin Seven on this one I think. Some of them used to have a canvas sunroof, they're the rare ones.

The Ford Prefect is cute, and the Willys

The convert looks like a 50-52 Chevy. It would probably be a Belair in that vintage.

Maybe Pontiac, but my guess is Chevy.

I think the bubble car is either an NSU or a DKW

The strectch Fiat 124 is cute also.

oops... had to edit. What I thought was a Fiat 124 is in fact a Lada. Russia used the same design as Fiat.

Looks like a Kaiser Henry J

Northboy, I figured it was only a matter of time before someone recognized some of these
things. Varadero is like stepping back in time with an odd mix of very strange modern. I've
lots of pic's of the stuff that most of us would know, but many like these that I really didn't
know what I was looking at, so out came the camera.

Legacy of a mispent youth.lol

We used to hotrod most of them.A guy down the street when I was a kid stuffed a V6 into one of those Prefects. No Ford Anglias? That was the ticket for a 289.

My brother and I were into Coopers at the time. Before we graduated to bigger stuff.

Like this? I didn't know what it even was until "Lone Wolf" I.D.'ed it yesterday on a different
thread. I realized I'd unintentionally high-jacked that thread, so I started this one...

Had a full blown Mini Cooper (circa 1971) and I would put it up against a 289 any time.

I loved my minis too.

Would that have been one of those Wade rotary blowers? That would be one hot ticket.

The Anglia the guy have was just made to go in straight lines.

Saw a guy stuff a blown Lincoln engine into an old Rambler Lark once. That was always good for a smoke show.

No just had a guy who was into Minis big time.....his problem was the cooling system, so he vented the rad on the the front fender with a manual `open and close` control. Then replaced the grill with `nylon screening`.

Played with the carbs a bit and I ended up with a `hot car` and lots-o-tickets.

Lincoln in an AMC...an accomplishment!
