Strategic voting is how Dion got in to create his mess in the Liberal party..why do the same federally? If you hate Harper but like Greens..go for it.. If I watch the debate I will look forward to the demise of Dion as he stumbles and fumbles his way through this thing. I do agree though, if Jack intends on making a run at the Official Opposition he must do it in the next few nights....we shall see.

I am not Liberal and NOBODY tells me what to think. My impression of the man is he is a manipulative narcissist who must be in control or out of there and that's why nothing will ever be accomplished during a Harper minority. I fear an agenda because I know his politics are heavily linked to the "Me first" brand of government Mike Harris Tories practiced. I think a psychiatrist would have a field day going through his head.

That's the way it should be done because, unless they are forced to toe a party line, your local rep is the guy who speaks for you (theoretically)

The world course changed. It's unrealistic to think you can set your sights on a goal and not have to slow down, speed up or face detours along the way.

Harper does not do well in situations where he isn't in complete control. His only saving grace is the debate questions are pre-planned. He can easily be clobbered by the unexpected. I think Layton will do best in the debate because he can think on his feet and does well with surprises. Personally, I would love to see a minority government with Layton in power. I'll be satisfied with Leader of the Opposition though.
