Before you start calling people "ignorant, fear mongoring idiot" Mr. Obamabot, read the post. Where did I say he was not born in the United States? I stated he was raised in Indonesia, which he was.
He wasn't raised in Indonesia, he lived there for awhile, and went to school.

It's obvious you feel strongly about the issue, by your low class response and name calling. I'm am glad you are not voting in the U.S. election Nov 4th, so your opinions are just that, opinions and carry no real weight.
Pot calling the kettle black, speaking of low class, look in the mirror.

As a dual citizen (which I am) who will be voting this election in both countries, I will NOT vote for somebody who is unpatriotic.
They are both patriotic, so either one would be OK, in that respect.

I don't agree with his protectionist ideology, his tax policies or his stand on the war in Iraq
Well then, you should vote republican, simple.

Well the latest polls are out and McCaine has taken the lead. Once Obama took off and took the lead I had come to the conclusion that McCaine was finished. Boy what a flip. I am still not sure who will win but I can tell you the Dems are in a panic. All the TV shows and radio shows have them scratching their heads and trying to make sense of what they are seeing. John may pull it off after all.

Yeah, good point  and they both have a completely american way of talking, and not
the accent of either indonesia or north vietnam, wonder why.;-)

Wow, lefties ideology.

Great point, McCain was a political prisoner serving his country.

What has Obama ever done for his country? A community organizer. Well there is a community out there missing an organizer.

So to anybody out there trying to change their community......F you!

Kerry was a war hero as well and who did the cons choose?

A draft dodging coke head who bankrupted three companies.

All the Dems will find a gazillion reasons to demonize McCain and barbie doll.

All the Republicans will find a gazillion reasons to demonize Obama and that other guy.

Neither side will bother using any brain power.

The media are incharge of the direction the campaigning goes, they build up, and tear down whoever they want, I don't pay any attention to the polls, either way, but the shame of it is that, there are millions who will vote according to the gossip and silly
stories put out by the media, as their job is 'ratings', they don't care about the country
at all, but many people can't be bothered paying attention to anything important, and
will go with the medias high flyer, and polls, just to be on the winner side. It is really
just a joke. And of course, whichever campaign has the best criticism of the other, and
the media likes it too, will come to the surface, cause the media will put it out there,
if it is entertaining and negative, doesn't really matter what is actually true.

McCain spent a couple years bombing and killing civilians in North Viet Nam till they caught him, shot him down, and put him in prison. Now he wants to keep on bombing Iraqis. I would have thought he'd have learned.

He is stuck in that mindset, if there came a time when there is 'no' wars for him to
give opinions about, he would have 'no' opinion about anything, well maybe, his
grandchildren, if he has any.

I agree. But sometimes when the people don't behave according to what they are putting out they become perplexed.

I agree there as well.

I don't either but they do give you a good idea of what the people are thinking +/- 5%.

The media does not like being proven wrong. Calling the Palin pick a Hail Mary pass then reeling from the overwhelming support that she is getting. They did not predict that and they don't like it.

Juan, didn't you fly SuperSabres in the RCAF?

What would you have done if ordered to fly cover for bombers? Or to drop bombs yourself?

McCain's military service was more than honourable; it was exemplary. You, of all people, I would have thought would see that.

Do you think these guys get to choose their wars? Or their actions therein?

Yeah, picking her was a good diversion to the Obama attention, now they have something
different to throw out there, I don't know anything about her, have no opinion either way, but whoever told him to pick her, attracted the attention of many, and bought on
board, their fundamendalist christians, who don't particularly like McCain, so that move
will bring votes. Those are the people who elected Bush, and they might strike it lucky
again, with McCain.

FYI, I flew Canadair Mark 6 Sabres. Probably the equivalent of the F-100 but we flew patrol missions against hypothetical Bear bombers.

There were U.S. military pilots who refused to bomb villages in Viet Nam. The problem in Nam was you couldn't tell who your enemy was. The B-52 pilots dropped their bombs on map coordinates and had no idea what they hit. A-4 and A-6 pilots bombed and strafed villages from a couple hundred feet and they knew exactly what they were hitting. Let's face it, the Viet Nam war was a cock-up from day one.

No argument there......
