Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion believes Prime Minister Stephen Harper could be dissuaded from calling a federal election in the next few weeks.
During a stop in Saskatoon on Sunday, Dion told reporters that Harper should realize Canadians will see an election call as irresponsible in light of pending byelections across the country.
Senior Conservatives suggested last week Harper could pull the plug on his minority government as early as Sept. 2.
Dion said Harper could be convinced not to call an election once he realizes Canadians see the move as dishonest and irresponsible.

Yes, get an election going, and we should all vote any of the other parties except Liberal and Conservative...... really screw their plans up, he he.

I'm voting NDP.

Why?

Because they seem to have their brains screwed in right on more then the other two.

But then again, I already know most Canadians are afraid of "Change" and would rather just keep getting the broom stick up the ass with a slight twist.

If we want to get rid of the play Prime Minister we do.... Harpo doesn't have a clue about the business of good government. Majority would have given him the dictatorship he needs.

We are going to get another minority government, no way the libs or cons will get a majority. It's pretty good that way since Dion & Harper are both twits.

So much for fixed election dates. This election is early for one reason, to cover up the sneaky **** they've been up to and avoid the problematic inquiries that have been dogging this administration around. Top secret documents left at booty calls. Secret payments to a prime minister. There are more cover ups here than at Boot Hill. Talk about Animal Farm, the pigs have become the farmers. And we were told we were worried about the Liberals.

Anyone remember the strength the economy had? Even when the American economy started sinking the Canadian economy was strong and growing. Remember the American economy when it was strong and growing before Bushco was elected?

We need to get back on track and working toward what is really important, not this made up issue crap that the Harper Neocons want to get rolling. A neocon majority is about the last thing we need in Canada.

More positive actions can be accomplished with a minority, a majority just turns into a dictatorship.

Do we remember the last Conservative government we had before the liberals? Do we remember the Tories firing a cabinet minister every year they were in office? Do we remember the Liberal balanced budgets? Do we remember the Liberals paying down the Conservative debt? Do we remember that just a few weeks ago the Tories floated a 500 million dollar deficit? Now they want an election? Funny isn't it?

Well if hypothetically, if we have another minority, one good thing is we could get the NDP or other parties to hold even more power/seats, and the Liberals and Conservatives would have less, therefore less power.
Who the hell wants the NDP to have any seats???

Do we remember the last Conservative government we had before the liberals?

Yup, but it's clouded by the corrupt Liberals we had in power already for 10 years or so.

Do we remember the Tories firing a cabinet minister every year they were in office?

Do you remember the numerous times Dion sent his party out the door, avoiding any votes that would force an election in the last year, playing pussy soap opera games for political points, not representing the people who voted them in in the first place, not doing their fk'n jobs?

Do we remember the Liberal balanced budgets?

Do we remember the sponsorship scandal? Do we remember the Liberals sending us off to Afghanistan?

Do we remember the Liberals paying down the Conservative debt?

Do we remember the Liberals screwing over Altantic Canada with the HST, hince, increasing more tax money they rape from us? Yeah, I wonder where they got that money to pay it down in the first place?

Do we remember that just a few weeks ago the Tories floated a 500 million dollar deficit? Now they want an election? Funny isn't it?

Yeah, it's absolutely hilarious, I almost shat me pants.

If you weigh the amount of crap we've been dished out to us by the Conservatives in one hand compared to the Liberals in the other, both of our hands would be crushed by tons of elephant she'at and leave us wide open for that lovely broom stick I was talking about.

Remember to ask for the twist to help it go in easier while you're bent over.

Think about it in simple terms..... How many decades and chances have we given the Liberals? How about the Conservatives?

Everytime one screws us over, we simply flip over to the other until they screw us over, and we continue the cycle over and over again.

The NDP at least haven't had a chance to screw us over on the level the Cons and Libs have...... I at least am in the mood for a change.... even if it's just to be screwed over again, at least it'll be by a different partner for variety, for once, rather then by the same old floppy penises over and over again, waiting for their sloppy seconds, thirds and fourths.

Bet there'd be a lot of newly made fertilizer if they scored a minority gov't.... Prime Minister Layton....

And besides, Layton looks like an angry beaver.... perfect for representing Canada to the rest of the world
