Ok, ok, you guy really cool, does not argue
these are cards that draw on it where Russian troops are now

Russian troops are in Gori, northwest of T'blisi, the capital.. and Senaki, south of Abkhazia, and just east of the Black Sea.. well outside the borders of South Ossetia in any case. Who knows where else. How do you explain that, Stradavar, except as a case of Invasion.. and conquest.

Well, i'm afraid that's above my level of computer savvy, Stradavar. I've given you the name of the cities, why don't you do that. The cities are easy to find. All the letters in that BBC link are in Cyrillic, i'm not up on that as well.

Get in the areana

Tell me if this sounds a little odd....
- Olympics starts in China......
- Bush goes on a tour to stir up human rights issues...like freedom of religion...During the olympics ...
- Media helps in the Negative smearing(warranted or not).....
- China takes offence...
- Russia stirs up a deversion to get in on the games..Perhaps Trying to humble Bush's " U.s./western propaganda tour".Take some heat ofF China? ..
- So Russia hits a weak democracy ,that perhaps ,rightfully belongs to Russia anyway( argueably)......
On it goes...All at a time where we are suppose to be peacefully competeing ,and cheering our countries on, in good faith and good fun!......Oh what a world self interested politicians lead at the expense of the rest of us!!!
Elections must be coming!
Bush....., Putin Take it out in an olympic areana! ..Get in the ring! .I pay BIG$$$$$$$ to see that ..Just Please Leave the rest of us out of it.. So we can enjoy the games in peace !

Must be an election year!

Thank you for this space and time.....

Bullsh*t unprovoked, Russia was there on a UN peacekeeping mission- It was Georgia who was the agressor. Russia may have wanted to go into Georgia but thet didn't have an excuse until now. Georgia killed Russian peace keepers that's all the excuse they need to justify hostilities with Georgia and there's not much the US can do about it.

No need to Georgia was the first stone throwing, because Russia in response abandon brick.
John Fraser, New Zealand

Russian peacekeepers in South Ossetia have a UN mandate. They shot Georgian troops. Why did no one drew attention to this fact?
Yelena Solovei, South Ossetia, Georgia

God, people! That you do not understand what's happening? This is basically the same information warfare. Americans receive their version of the news. All post-Soviet countries understand that Georgia had bought. Saakashvili had no right to initiate military action against Ossetia, especially on the day of the Olympic Games. Shame!
Anna, Riga, Latvia

In South Ossetia did not have water, food, medicines. Is though someone has sent there humanitarian aid? No. Why? One Russia to take care of refugees, providing them with all necessary. Why no international organization does not think anything? They only know how to talk and argue.
Julia Aliyev in Baku, Azerbaijan

from BBC site, hah, this ppl right ;)

The US will have to do it alone, the rest of Western Europe is too dependent on Russian oil and fears a russian oil embargo. I can't help but feel something else is afoot- Why would a US puppet state provoke a world power with 40x the military budget? what is this really about- Is Georgia really that confident about it's "friendship" with the west that they could just do what ever they want and remain untouchable.

The problem I have here is the double standard.

Georgia has every right to wage a civil war, and Russia has no right to give passports to Georgian citizens in an area its supposed to be peacekeepers for.

Its a bit of a conflict of interest for Russia to be peacekeepers of a region that wants to join Russia, and whom Russia then gave passports too.

I always staggers me how people can blame the USA and every move it does on the world stage as some imperialist oil grab,

But when Russia (or china or anyone else) makes a very blunt imperialist land grabs to funnel oil better... no one goes against them.

I guess its just not chic to blame anyone but America and Israel, hell even France gets a free ride for its Imperialistic wars, It even backs genocide and gets off scott free.

Why would the US have to get involved at all?? They should butt out, it has nothing to do with them...

They (USA)have upwards of a thousand military advisors in Georgia, they use Georgia for oil piplines so they can circumvent russian territory, they are sponsoring Georgia for admission into NATO- It has a lot to do with them
