Did the Christian God Break his own Commandment?

Children very seldom follow the rules their parents set, so long as they don't follow their own rules, so how the hell can one expect humans to do the same when God is permitted to contradict his own rules, thereby expressing no sense of control or order?

God (or Yahweh) is not equal to man; man has to obey God (or Yahweh); but it is not God that should obey man.
Moreover, God does not wrong people concerning anything; but it is people who wrong themselves by committing many sins and disobeying their Lord, and associating some equals and patrons together with God.

Since he has yet to do anything for me in this life, and expects everything for nothing

Man is ungrateful to his Lord Who bestowed on him every grace and favor and blessing: safety, health, provision, intelligence, education, eye-sight and ear-hearing, and God gave him everything he requested, and he is unaware: eats of the provision of God but does not show gratitude, and seeing every miraculous portent and he does not glorify his Creator; then doesn't such ungrateful man deserves the punishment of God Almighty?

go ahead, take your cat or dog and set them free out into the forest to fend for themselves, don't give them anymore help, no food, no water, no shelter, nothing..... and then expect them to follow along the same rules you had set in your house and see just how long they will survive...... they won't.... and chances are, for as long as they do live, I bet you anything they abandoned your rules in order to survive.

God Most Gracious did not leave man be; he gave him every grace and provided him with all kinds of provision, and explained to him the right and correct way of monotheism and sent to him a large number of prophets and apostles; then in case he denies the grace of his Lord, will not be worthy of severe chastisement?

God's not here, God hasn't done a licking thing for as long as I can at least remember, and I'm the one who's got to survive on this planet along with everybody else..... wtf should I or anyone else be expceted to follow the rules and laws set out by something that has never communicated with us in forever?

This is contrary to the real truth; God exists: His marvelous signs are everywhere around us, and His blessings and grace surround us from every side, with His large number and innumerable bounties.
Whoso follows the commandments of God, it is for his own advantage, and whoso disobeys and contradicts it, it is to his own destruction.

What? Kill the guy, but don't kill him too much?

No one said about such a thing. It means: the relative of the murdered one (like his son or his brother…etc) has the right of taking revenge on the killer, but should not kill more than the killer, and should not kill other than the murderer himself.

So when does God become impoverished? Oh wait, you're addressing questions for one religion with answers from another.... that doesn't make much sense.

The adulterer will sooner or later be impoverished, as will the murderer be killed sooner or later too.

God is not poor; He is Rich: to Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth.

"How similar is today to yesterday, and how similar are the sons to their ancestors" – this is a parable.

God – be glorified – said in the Quran 3: 181

The explanation:
(God has heard the saying of those [Jews] who said: "God is poor and we are rich [: so that He borrows from us, and tells us to expend alms to the poor.]"

We shall write down what they have said, and their slaying the prophets without right,

and We shall say [to them on the Day of Judgment]: "Taste the chastisement of the Burning [in Hell.]"

This [chastisement] shall [you suffer] according to [your unbelief, slaying of the prophets and the evil works] that your hands have forwarded [to your Hereafter] ––

surely God is never unjust in dealing with His servants.)

The text makes it clear that Joseph was planning to split, even back then they new "I'm a virgin and pregnant" meant affair.

Of course, the use of the term virgin is suspect, it comes from an Old Testament prophecy that when translated directly from the hebrew simply says "young woman", not "virgin".

The problem was that the first century Christians didn't have access to the original Hebrew Old Testament but were instead using a Greek translation called the Septuagint. The Septuagint mistakenly translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" as "virgin" which raises some questions about the origins of this fundamental Christian doctrine.
hehehe villages used to be called ka-na-ta and the English messed that up and now we have Canaduh.
I have questions about the whole idea behind gods, devils, vampyres, and centaurs & other such superstitions.

Such is an obvious mixing: God is True; the others are false.

This is in the Quran 31: 30
The explanation:
([All] that [indicates] it is God Who is the True [Creator], and that what they serve – apart from Him – is the untrue, and that it is God Who is the Most High, the Great.)

So you say. The problem with your hypothesis, EA, is that I don't believe in any of these creatures; including gods and there is no evidence that suggests that I should believe in these creatures. Spouting biblical rhetoric or rhetoric from your book is NOT evidence. It is simply hearsay that's been passed down through time.

That's what I've been saying. I don't need a repeat in history lessons on what was said by someone else thousands of years ago... I want to know what it means to the individual who believes it and in their own words so I can understand their perspectives in a human fashion.... not as some animal who is to obey without question out of fear of massive suffering by other god-fearing humans or what might or might not happen in the afterlife.

Just because a book says something, doesn't actually make it fact or true. Quoting old passages in the Bible or the Quran which do not answer the questions being presented, is the whole problem, which is why I started the debate in the first place (with a slight focal point)

In other words, Explain it as it makes sense to you in your own words and explain it in a manner which makes some logical sense as to why you believe what you speak, and then I might begin to understand.

If you're going to just spout off all kinds of old crap that doesn't answer the questions and shoot off other quotes telling me I'm going to hell and suffer a lot because I ask some questions or say things that might offend what is mentioned in the books, then you're not meeting the debate requirements.... but then I guess I didn't elaborate on that earlier, so that's my fault.

Of course, translating it to "Virgin" rather then just a young woman does help make the whole story more magical,
In fact, perhaps she might have done just that.... slept with some other guy, got pregnant, she made up an elaborate story that God got her pregnant and it was out of her control, and then Jesus had to live that lie for the rest of his life, setting his fate long before he was born.

This is a temptation to all mankind: some will believe, while others will not be guided; because their hearts are unclean.

Some will believe in the might of God, and others will follow their doubts; while her chastity and high morale and noble descent: all that is evident.

She was virgin: i.e. her hymen was intact, and no one came into her and made sexual contact with her; she was protected by God from the temptation of Satan.
But after giving birth to Jesus, she was no longer virgin.

Jesus knew himself from the start; he was an angel that came down to do a certain duty, and when they denied him, the honor of bearing the Commandments of God was taken away from them and given to another nation, which will be honored as long as they are monotheists. Jesus knew himself, and was not embarrassed.

Jesus Christ will come (with his soul) for another task: to teach the Paraclite (or the Awaited Mahdi): to teach him the interpretation of the Quran, and to instruct him; and to guide many of people, and to confirm the authenticity of the Quran.

i.e. Jesus will inspire and reveal to the Paraclite :) the Awaited Mahdi) the interpretation of the ayat of the Quran, which none - apart from God - may know their meaning. This will be by means of the inspiration.

Mary his mother was much embarrassed at the start, then God declared her clear of any accusation; because the baby spoke in the cradle; and so her family stopped blaming her; they saw a marvelous sign and realized the truth of her chastity.

God (or Yahweh) is not equal to man; man has to obey God (or Yahweh); but it is not God that should obey man.

Why?

Our entire structure of living, the way our world works, the environment, everything works in a balanced cycle for the most part.... in our societies we learn by asking questions and having doubts in our leaders to better our ways of life...... why should God be excluded from this? He apparently created us, he apparently gave us this ability to think for ourselves and to question what is around us.... why the hell can't we question God and actually get some answers?

If God made us in his image, then one man probably isn't equivilant to God.... but the entire collective of the human race together asking these questions should be a justified amount to equate to God in order to confront him with these questions and doubts.... and I bet there's a good chunk of humanity which has many questions.

Moreover, God does not wrong people concerning anything; but it is people who wrong themselves by committing many sins and disobeying their Lord, and associating some equals and patrons together with God.
Man is ungrateful to his Lord Who bestowed on him every grace and favor and blessing: safety,

There is no such thing as safety in life.... we are all equally at chance for bad things happening to us.... the only safety which exists is through friends, family/parents, military, police and security..... all human.

Health is through knowlege and through our own families and communities/hospitals.... without Human influence on Health and if we left it all up to God, we'd all be still dying around the age of 30 if we're lucky.

provision,

Supplies like food, water and other materials are all created on this planet through the normal environmental cycles which create them in the first place.... those provisions are collected, by hand, by humans.... not God.

intelligence, education,

Intelligence is built through education and experience.... all done directly by humans, not God. And Intelligence is not exclusive to just Humans.

eye-sight and ear-hearing,

Like just about every other animal on the planet....

and God gave him everything he requested, and he is unaware: eats of the provision of God but does not show gratitude, and seeing every miraculous portent and he does not glorify his Creator; then doesn't such ungrateful man deserves the punishment of God Almighty?

Sounds a lot like some rich guy who can't be bothered with his wife and just hands her diamonds, cars, spa treatments, etc. just to keep them around for their own egos while they take off somewhere to sleep with their receptionist.

Dude.... where's the love in the relationship?

In other words.... why show gratitude when the bugger isn't around to accept it? Why show gratitude when the bugger never answers your prayers or helps you through your life and always feel alone?

When you feel like you're doing it all on your own and God isn't around to help out with the kids, why sleep with him when he comes home from work?

God Most Gracious did not leave man be; he gave him every grace and provided him with all kinds of provision, and explained to him the right and correct way of monotheism and sent to him a large number of prophets and apostles; then in case he denies the grace of his Lord, will not be worthy of severe chastisement?

Well it's been a while since I've heard of any prophets or apostles to guide us along the way.... well, except that wacco in Wacco who thought he was Jesus.

This is contrary to the real truth; God is here: His marvelous signs are everywhere around us, and His blessings and grace surround us from every side, with His large number and innumerable bounties.

Whoso follows the commandments of God, it is for his own advantage, and whoso disobeys and contradicts it, it is to his own destruction.

Well bring it on God.... I got two knuckle sandwhiches with your name on them... we'll see who takes out who first.

No one said about such a thing. It means: the relative of the murdered one (like his son or his brother…etc) has the right of taking revenge on the killer, but should not kill more than the killer, and should not kill other than the murderer himself.

Fair enough.... best make sure you got the right guy I suppose.

The adulterer will sooner or later be impoverished, as will the murderer be killed sooner or later too.

Well sooner or later someone's gonna die from cancer or AIDS, or a speeding train.....

God is not poor; He is Rich: to Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth.

And thus, Marry is just but a possesion to God in which he feels justified in doing whatever he wishes, such as getting her pregnant.

"How similar is today to yesterday, and how similar are the sons to their ancestors" – this is a parable.
God – be glorified – said in the Quran 3: 181

And who's fault is that?

Some will believe in the might of God, and others will follow their doubts; while its chastity and high morale and noble descent: all that is evident.

God doesn't make me a good person, I make myself a good person.... once again, morals and being noble isn't exclusive to those who follow religion..... and if that was the case, then no molesters in religious authoritive positions would exist, there wouldn't be any holy wars, etc.

She was virgin: i.e. her hymen was intact, and no one came into her and made sexual contact with her; she was protected by God from the temptation of Satan.
But after giving birth to Jesus, she was no longer virgin.[/quuote]

Honestly I don't think anybody knew what the hell a hymen was back then.... makes more sense that the term ment she was young..... which even Roman Catholic teachings acknowlege that she was of a young age.

Jesus knew himself from the start; he was an angel that came down to do a certain duty, and when they denied him, the honor of bearing the Commandments of God was taken away from them and given to another nation, which will be honored as long as they are monotheists. Jesus knew himself, and was not embarrassed.
Jesus Christ will come for a similar task: to kill the impostor: who will try to falsify and disprove the religion of God. This will be when the "filth" will be in the Holy House of God!

To kill the imposter huh? So if there's two Jesuseszesz sometime down the road, how are we supposed to know which one is the real one?

Better yet.... wtf does this have to do with what we're trying to talk about?

I asked a simple question and I get a frickin pile of crap from all over the place that none of it explains anything on what was being questioned. I asked about Marry, God and the Commandments, and I get crap about Jesus's second coming and how I'm going to hell.... someday, perhaps.

Mary his mother was much embarrassed at the start, then God declared her clear of any accusation; because the baby spoke in the cradle; and so her family stopped blaming her; they saw a marvelous sign and realized the truth of her chastity.

Ok, never in my entire life of being beaten over the head with a Bible did I ever encounter anybody mentioning baby Jesus talking.... I guess they either missed that tid bit of info, or excluded it.

But you explain that she was embarrassed at the start, which of course leads me to believe it was originally an unwanted child..... If she had true faith in God, then she wouldn't have reason to be embarrassed, therefore, she wasnt' as pure or perfect as the books claim her to be.

See... it's crap like this where there's several big books everyone's supposed to follow, which all either contradict one another, or tell a completely different story, that causes all these damn questions and people giving up on religions in the first place.

Well, the evidence shows us that this god constantly breaks its own commandments. And as far as I am concerned, the evidence is irrefutable.

God will not break His covenant, neither will He go back on His promise, nor will He command indecency.
  • God does not break His covenant:
This is in the Quran 2: 80-81
وقالوا لن تمَسّنا النّارُ إلاّ أيّاماً معدودةً قل أَتّخذْتم عندَ اللهِ عهداً فلن يخلفَ اللهُ عهدَهُ
The explanation:
( And they say, “The fire [of Hell] shall not touch us save for several days*.
Say, “Have you taken a covenant with God?
For God breaks not His covenant)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*They mean the seven days in which they worshipped the gold calf.
  • God fulfills His promise:
God – be glorified – said in the Quran 30: 6
وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
The explanation:
([That] is a promising from God; [for] God never breaks His promise, but most people do not know.)
  • God never commands indecency:
This is in the Quran 7: 28
قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاء أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ
The explanation:
(Say [O Mohammed, to them]: "God never commands indecency; will you then say against God such things as you do not know?")

And who's fault is that?
[/quuote]

It is the fault fo the disbeliever, that he will follow the bad conjecture and his vain desires because his heart is unclean due to the precipitation of the Rayn on it, which is like the rust; this Rayn is because of his sins and transgression on people; this will prevent him from believing in God alone and in all the apostles of God (including Mohammed) and in all the heavenly books (including the Quran.)

I make myself a good person....
[/quuote]
To some extent, this may be right; man will be good or bad according to his befriending with good or bad persons; whoso befriends with the good, will be good like them; and whoso befreinds with the bad, will be bad like them.

God will guide the good manner person who is modest, kind-hearted, show mercy to the weak, the orphan and the widow; and who does not transgress on people.
But He will misguide the proud over people with his wealth or position, and moreover being hard-hearted, transgresses on people and plunder their rights and possessions.

Honestly I don't think anybody knew what the hell a hymen was back then.... makes more sense that the term ment she was young..... which even Roman Catholic teachings acknowlege that she was of a young age.
[/quuote]

This is not correct; this is known by people all the times and ages; don't think the ancient are so ignorant.
I have nothing to do with the Roman Catholic teachings and others; the Quran which is the last heavenly revealed book includes a better guidance and explanation.

how are we supposed to know which one is the real one?
[/quuote]

The real apostle invites people to God alone without any associate or equal or son or associate or wife or patron; the false will call people to the association with God contrary to the First Commandment.

Ok, never in my entire life of being beaten over the head with a Bible did I ever encounter anybody mentioning baby Jesus talking.... I guess they either missed that tid bit of info, or excluded it.
[/quuote]

The Quran states this; and I give you something to prove this is true:

Her family were the custodian of the House of God at Jerusalem; a most noble and honorable family; how could it happen that they became silent and left her without punishment. Some people beloging to the modern societies may not imagine this;

but this is still the truth: they might have killed her; because she brought disgrace on them; but they left her when they saw that miracle: the baby spoke; because he knew the language and the Torah and the Gospel.

But you explain that she was embarrassed at the start, which of course leads me to believe it was originally an unwanted child..... If she had true faith in God, then she wouldn't have reason to be embarrassed, therefore, she wasnt' as pure or perfect as the books claim her to be.
[/quuote]

I have just explained why she was much embarrassed; because she would be accused of the adultery, of which she was innocent.

See... it's crap like this where there's several big books everyone's supposed to follow, which all either contradict one another, or tell a completely different story, that causes all these damn questions and people giving up on religions in the first place.

Follow the Glorious Quran of God, to which no falsehood may come whether in the past or in the future; it is known by heart by a large number of people; some of them are non-Arab and they know it by heart, in spite of being ignorant about Arabic.
http://quranandhebrewbible.t35.com/#preface

The Quran surpasses the Torah and the Gospel in giving many details so precisely, in spite of being a concise book. The Quran is the latest heavenly book; it bears the correction of many distortions and additions and deletions that afflicted the past two heavenly books.

How can man be equal to God?
Man is less than 2 meters height; God cannot be limited, and He is Most Great.
Man is limited in power; God is Almighty.
Man is limited in knowledge; God is All-Knowing.
Man is one of billions of billions of similar organisms: human beings and others scattered throughout the time and place; God is Unique, and God is One.
Man is the created; God is the Creator.
Man is the provided for; God is the Provider.
Man will die; God dies not.
Glory be to God! How can man who is full of flatus and bubbles and dirts, whose sweat will make him foul smelling, in addition to all other dirts that he carries within and produces out of his body; how can such creature be equal to God?

Now, see this example: and answer truthfully:

If you own a company or a factory, and all the parts, machines, the wealth and possession, the building, the contents and the goods: all that belongs to you;

will you then share the workers equally with you: so that you divide the shares equally between you and the workers? Or only you give them their salary according to their production and according to their stated wages?

God Who created man among all other creatures; how can He be equal to them; here is the servitude to God demonstrated, and the monotheism and loyalty to God alone without other patrons.

God means that to Whom you enslave yourself, or else you want to be a god besides Him!?

Asking and inquiring of God:
You can ask and inquire, but not blaspheme and deny and reject and be ungrateful.
This is like the question of Abraham about the resurrection of the dead. See this subject in the question and its answer just before Meteors

Another example:
A man has a son; he gives him all his needs, protects him from every danger, advises him to every good, educates him with every knowledge discipline, makes him dwell in a good house …etc. Then this son, without any cause or defect from the part of his father, goes in the street and spit in the face of his father before all people.
Is this behavior polite and accepted?
What will be the reaction of his father: he gives him a chance to be reformed, and the son goes on in his same impolite way, without apologizing, and without repenting; in the end what will his father do to such ungrateful son?

There is none similar to God, as is there nothing like Him.
This is according to the Quran 42: 11
لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ
The explanation: (There is not, as His likeness, anything; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.)

The individual man as well as all mankind and demonkind; all cannot be equal nor similar to Him Who created all the universe and all the past and present generations, in addition to all the plants and animals and the universe as a whole.

Once a man passed by, and some of the people mocked him, then Prophet Mohammed said: "Don't mock and defame this man who is like the shape of Adam; God created him in his image."
It means God created Adam similar to this man. While God there is no analogue to Him; He is Unique and is Superior to any imagination or thinking.

Supplies like food, water and other materials are all created on this planet through the normal environmental cycles which create them in the first place.... those provisions are collected, by hand, by humans.... not God.

Intelligence is built through education and experience.... all done directly by humans, not God. And Intelligence is not exclusive to just Humans.

Safety is granted by God: i.e. man is surrounded by dangers from every side, and God protects him; He can afflict him with all harm, but out of His kindness He averts from Him every harm, unless He intends to punish him according to his disobedience and sinning.
This is according to the Quran 16: 61

The explanation:
(If God should take men to task for their evildoing, He would not leave on [the earth] one creature that moves;
but He is deferring them to a term stated;
and when their term is come they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward.)

Health also is similar to safety: You should go to hospitals and take the medicines, but who said the patient will be cured by this medicine? Will the doctor diagnose him correctly and give him the required treatment? Will the drug work for all men in the same way? Can God afflict this or that man with untreatable disease according to his stubbornness and disobedience, and then he will go to doctors all his time and receive drugs and does not respond; so the cure is granted by God. So if you contemplate the matter, you will discover that the Curing One is God Most Gracious.

Provision:
How do men differ among themselves in provision: One is poor, another is rich and another is moderate? And to all these there is much variation in provision.

An intelligent and graduated man may not acquire the required daily requirement, and a stupid one is rich and the wealth comes to him from where he is unaware.

The clever works hard and cannot obtain except the decreed amount of provision, whatever he tries and uses many ways for obtaining money and he cannot.

It may also be that one has a big fortune in getting his provision, and in his all other bounties from God.

One works only a mild effort and yet he obtains much, and another one works from early morning to late hours in the day, to obtain only the minimum or middle or much …etc.

Moreover, he may get money but it is not decreed for him to eat so and so; because he was busy and passed in the market place in a hurry and could not buy some kind of fruit although his pocket is full of money; so it was not decreed for him to eat that fruit…etc.

Moreover, one year, the market place was full of the truffles; because of a large number occurrence of the lightning; so that all people and the poor in particular ate of this truffle, when they were in difficult economic troubles; while in other years there was not such amounts of the truffles.

But the provision in this World appears to be indirect; while in the next world of souls and following Judgment Day it will be direct and manifest according to the righteous work of man during this World and by the favor and grace of God.

Intelligence is a gift from God Most Gracious; see how people differ in their intelligence, as do they vary in many other talents and criteria.

Your argument is dependent on the faulty assumptions that

a)Yahweh was against rape
b) that Yahweh was Christ's god
and c) that the story of the immaculate conception is anything more than an ad hoc fallacy designed to prove that Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies.
