Samad Dabiri is an Irish Immigrant is he? Funny, didn't see anything in the article claiming this.
Or just not funny, but either way the thread title is misleading and perhaps borderline offensive if I say so myself.... unless it can be confirmed that he is indeed an Irish immigrant and perhaps that area of the world has an influx of problems related to "Irish Immigrants" such as the above case, then I might see some grounds for the stereo-type..... if not.....

I was under the impression that it was dry humor, paralleling the way that the irish used to get blamed for everything, with the troubles that are now broadcast about new immigrant groups.

I just clicked on the thread expecting a topic that related to the title and requested some clarification on the matter.
I'm not an immigrant to Canada, but I do come from Irish decent, and I'm all aware of the stereo-types and racial things that come with it, much like many other races.... I just figured since I see once in a while a race or religion get all uppity on similar things, I'd just fill my boots and do the same....

But regardless, I just want to point out that we Irish don't stab people at random, we just blow them up at random.... just figured I'd clarify the stereo-type a little.... and that's what I found offensive.
