It never ceases to amaze me that someone is always predicting the end of civilization as we know it. Let me know when the fear, hunger and para-military abuse begins over the next couple of months so I can move deep into the wilderness.
Civilization will always be changing, no need to hide, or run. However being informed of what is taking place and how the changes are and will be affecting us is important. We are becoming more and more a controlled society, if you're OK with that, so be it, I however am not OK with it.

The thing is, people do, constantly, refute the points you make. You then claim they "just don't understand" are "stupid" or "lack critical thought" , and then just go back to making the same claims they just refuted.

You have a view point, that is super, everyone does. But you flood every discussion thread with it, which would be tolerable, except you don't discuss it. You just state your opinion and spam the thread , insulting everyone who disagrees with you and ignoring all the evidence contrary to your beliefs.

You can't discuss something with someone who just plugs their ears and repeats their mantra, Kreskin very clearly spelled out this is a positive thread and the first thing you did was just go back to ranting like a raving loon.

Then why don't you practice what you preach and submit a positive post about GW Bush and co; instead of following me arround sniffing every bush I urinate on and offering your condemnation of me instead of facts, links, or real argument to the contrary.

OK, we have enough GWB and US bashing threads. Lets start one that looks at something positive.

In 2003 GWB started an Emergency Plan for AIDS. Whether or not it met it's effectiveness targets he didn't give up on it. It doesn't make headlines but it's real.

What other programs/initiatives do you feel his admin has been successful with?

Back in the olden days we used to clown around with things like the "world's shortest lists". like the following:
List of the good things G.W.Bush has done.

List of G.W. Bush's attractive attributes.

List of people wanting to nominate G.W. Bush for Nobel prize...

I'm sure there are others...

Alright, dancing-loon has a positive contribution to George's list of accomplishments to make:

1) It says something about a man, if he can stay with the same woman for over 30 years!! George W. and Laura were married on November 5, 1977, at 11 A.M. in a small wedding in the Glass Chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Midland, Texas.

2) That could mean that he is also good in bed!

3) George managed to free himself from alcohol addiction!!
Bush said he quit drinking the morning after his 40th birthday! That would be 21 years of staying sober!

4) George Bush doesn't smoke either!!

5) He seems to be healthy and fit, which is indicative of a healthy life style!!

6) George also has a good sense of humor!

There you have half a dozen positives, dear Kreskin! Are you now a little bit satisfied and pleased? Didn't I make up for my friend Beaver?? I hope so!

He wears nice suits which leads me to believe he wears nice underwear too.
He probably smells good, and he keeps his hair nice.
He has a nice daughter that I saw on the Ellen show.
He lives in the US, which is good if you don't.
Ya, I guess he's not so bad.................

Rightly or Wrongly, he does have the Aura that he truly believes he's helping the world.

(Whether or not he is is another matter, the point of this is that he Thinks he is so he can't be all bad, just misinformed)

I'm not disputing things change, but the predictions of our society coming to an end are a little premature. This has been going on for one hundred years and we've never had it any better than today.

We accutually had it better in many very important ways, the food was safe and better, the air was better, the education was better, there were fish in the seas, we had no chance of nuclear biological or chemical warfare, we had far more liesure time, there was signifigantly less diease, less war, less poverty, less homelessness, we have definately had it better even in my lifetime, my time was worth more thirty years ago than it is right now today so what you said is incorrect in many ways, sure there has been improvement but standard of living is not one of them. In my fathers time only one parent had to work, imagine that.
If you watch what is going on with the American economy in particular you'll see that things are not going well at all. The predictions of western culture undergoing abrupt and signifigant change in the coming years are not at all empty alarmist nonesense, it's real and you can try to take it to the bank but there is a very good chance it'll be bankrupt when you get there. Read the Mogambo Guru Kreskin at least you'll get a laugh while you're discovering just how bad things are going to get, the recession has already begun. What in hell makes you think I stay up all night inventing scary stories?

Aside from some evironmental issues we're way ahead today than 100 years ago. Less poverty? How about entire villages created by homesteaders dropped off in the middle of nowhere with nothing.

Most of the alarmist nonsense is alarmist nonsense.

People live longer than ever before.

Diseases have been eradicated. ie. smallpox

Food is more nutritious than ever before.

People are wealthier than ever before.

People are more educated than ever before.

He has an Aura? Misinformed? Helping the world? He has an Aura? An Aura? Aura----------

You have that same type of Aura Zzarchov, you could be great someday. If you don't get misinformed.

In many ways it was a better life Kreskin. Homesteaders had a good chance then, better lives than many urbanites endure today. There has not been an increase in real income since the early 70's. Go look it up Kreskin. We have been going backwards for over thirty years and still moving in reverse only faster.
