DB, "... batteries not included offer not applicable in Quebec, some settling may have occured in shipping, sold by weight not volume..."

There are good reasons why. Batteries are simply not included in the price. The cashier can put them in your shopping bag. The offer is not applicable in Quebec, because it is applicable everywhere else and that is reason enough for a Differantiste. Some settling may not occur in shipping, but on planet Earth we generally have gravity. Product sold by weight because when you immerse the corn flakes to measure their volume, they get soggy.

You are a gifted cynic and a consumate whiner - a victim of the cold war. Your inner narrative is a rant. You are... Dark Beaver. But I mean that in a nice way.

Kill the people - save the stem cells! George and God should get aquainted.

That's more like it, I feel a kinship, distant but familiar, perhaps some common familiarity will bridge the moate that separates our fertile minds. Fragrant flowers like poop.Isn,t that amazing? Yes I am a consumate whiner.It has been my mission to excell in some area of the humanitys and I thank-you for the recognition. I cannot lightly abandone hope for you in your time of need, capitalism can be cured Jim, take heart have hope for your future, do not dispare life is wonderful but expensive. Taking care of bussiness me oh my, I love to work at nothing all day. You are a marvelous writing machine I think, far better than I, a beacon to one failed mind such as mine, shine on master Short19 and illuminate the path before us with your wit. metafizzicly yours DB Eaver

Als die Nazis die Kommunisten holten,
habe ich geschwiegen;
ich war ja kein Kommunist.

Als sie die Sozialdemokraten einsperrten,
habe ich geschwiegen;
ich war ja kein Sozialdemokrat.

Als sie die Gewerkschafter holten,
habe ich nicht protestiert;
ich war ja kein Gewerkschafter.

Als sie mich holten,
gab es keinen mehr, der protestierte.

Political dissent characterized as whining in a democracy that millions died to preserve and protect demonstrates more about the accuser than it does the target. This board will never have any of my thoughts again.

This board will always have your thoughts MickeyDB, you are a free mind. I will be not be lost without you but I will be a hell of a lot more lonely. The subjects characterization of dissent is certainly not unfamiliar to me. Disarming the unarmed is not heavy.The only cure for poverty of that sort is to allow the subject latitude and fuel, when the water gets deep we'll see who can realy swim and who can only dogpaddle. Thanks for the fish and meat Mickey!

Dissent

You call your dissent dissent? And my dissent is not?

I sense that you are wounded to the heart. I too am never going to open my mouth again. See you at the monestery, say noonish.

Let not the millions have died in vain.
So we could all whine and complain.
Free the dead and chain the quick!
They must have won for we're heartsick.

Honour be to those who died, and those that survived not to complain, but to build and build up to the moon. There are many hurdles, even reversals, but we are not going backward. Civilization has accelerated, and growing pains there are. A wise man likened them to the pains of birth. He was an optimist.

I propose that we hatch an activist plot to improve something, because our complaint and a buck will get us a coffee wherever coffee is sold for a buck. I love to complain, but are you sure that corn flakes should be sold by volume? If not, your nebulous metaphor doesn't work, no matter what it means.

OK, corn flakes should be sold by volume, but let's make it cubic light years. Keep the suckers in the dark.

I guess if one of us has to go home, it aught to be the newbie. Newbies are an ass pain.

I'm just going outside and may be some time. (Capt. Lawrence Oates last words to Robert Falcon Scott)

Up the Revolution

I just noticed that I'm a member, not a newbie. It's snowing outside, and cold. Granted we must complain, as surely as thought must precede action. But how will we lift a finger today, so we may complain in good conscience again tommorrow?

Get me a snow shovel! Throw the crap up where it came from! Up the revolution!

Millions did not in fact die to preserve democracy, they died to fatten the bankers and preserve and protect privilage.That same story of sacrifice has been used for how long? Those men and thier survivors certainly thought they died in the service of thier loved ones that cannot be denied. If we do not awknowledge the futility of thier deaths we will follow them in greater and greater heaps for nothing. Are we to swallow the baited hook for ever? If we do the anglers will never tire of fishing.

Where are my meds?

Dark Beaver, you are off the meds again. "...they died to fatten the bankers and preserve and protect privilage."

My own father fought but did not die. Neither did he live to fatten bankers. How could Hitler know only to kill those who would fatten bankers and preserve privilege? How did the Imperial Japanese know too? How do they know?

You probably hate bankers. Wait a minute, I was a banker! Ha! I know from my own good girth and privilege that these millions dead make fine socio-economic fertilizer. I light a fart on Remembrance Day and appreciate - were it not for those who died I could not oppress the poor at ease and in peace.
