The problem for the Republicans is they are so damn religiously pius, the family values thing and so on like they hold the public purse when it comes to morals. They get caught, and what is the excuse?
They made a terrible mistake, no they didn't they engaged in unbecoming behavior and they are nothing more than hypocrites. Take this Dog Chapman, he was a moral leader and a born again christian and so on. Turns out he was nothing more than a loud mouthed hypocritical racist who got what he deserved. A&E has taken his show off the air, and did so without public pressure.
Craig should not be condemned as a Republican, he should be condemned as a hypocritical person who is without moral values regardless of his politics.

I can't get too animated about yet another story of an American (or any nationality for that matter) politician being revealed as lying cheating scum.... Seems to be the nature of the beast...

I can name two from my state alone. Gerry Studs going after 16 year old male Pages in the Capital Building and Barney Franks having his boyfriend running a prostitution ring out of his apartment. Neither one resigned. One is still a serving congressman.
Franks is open about his lifestyle and was not convicted of any crime for practicing it. And just for your entertainment and enlightenment, here's a report on how Republican scandals of all kinds open the door for Democratic success:

There was a story the other day of the Dems favorite UFO spotter Kucinich who pushed for a vote to impeach VP Cheney. Instead of trying to do what they were elected to do this guy delved into more partisan politics. So he put it to vote expecting the GOP to vote against it so he could say...
"You see... the GOP members are trying to hide something!"
Well the funny thing was the GOP pulled an end around and started voting in support of the Impeachment Debate. They wanted to expose the liberals who suddenly can't seem to do anything in congress. As one GOP member said...
"We were trying to help out the democrats and give them their day in court!" <chuckle>
Pelosi...realizing that they have been out smarted once again shelved the debate and put it to committee for further review. In other words...she sent it into oblivion.

The international foreign services is packed with deviates. I have a retired USMC friend who was in the Embassy Security details and he served at several locations and his stories are very interesting. While in the military service they are sworn to secrecy bt the whole setting for both some male and female career foreign service profwssionals is really jaded. After you hera about it all you can do is view it wit disgust. I don't wish to be judgmental about lifestyles but I sure do about career US diplomats using taxpayers funds to carry out their own private personal agenda while on my nickel.

While we here in the US are not perfect why do Canadians allow to export of a substance that is known to cause cancer and is responsible for the deaths of millions. Why does Canada export asbestos to third world countries, a substance so deadly that it is banned in developed nations?
