I prefer to drink my water out of bottles. It is my personal choice, and I certainly do not think banning bottled water will solve anything in the long run. Just more empty buidings where people used to work.

If they ban water bottles, what's next? Banning soda pop? Fruit drinks? Energy drinks(Gatorade, for example)? That is a little too extreme in my opinion.

Do you use plastic forks and knives too?

I imagine that a lot of people bring them to picnics, and I know the cafeteria at work has plastic utensils. I'm not sure how feasible it would be to get rid of them.:?:

(Not a slam towards you Tonington:smile:)

I'm refering to the convenience of having bottled water where tap water is not readily available. Lugging a bottle back and forth to and from home is not convenient. Convenience is what sells the bottled water. Make it inconvenient and it won't sell.

I drink water from a bottle too. It's a Nalgene I've had for about 6 years now. I fill it at home, and at school. I don't have to stop anywhere to pick up anything, and I don't have to make change to buy water from a machine.

The machines usually have Aquifina which is just bottled tap water. I get my bottles as a crate of 35 at Sam's. When I need a new one, I just take one out the crate in the tunk.

At home I use a glass from the machine.
