Pot growers not very green.

They're energy hogs when it comes to using hydro eh. :lol:

I had friends who got a visit from the police when they got their great big garage built. Within the first month, the police were showing up with a warrant. lol. They had a good laugh over it.

For example, one company selling hydroponic crop equipment also stocks a lamp that consumes 80 percent less energy than the traditional grow lamps.

Therefore, it can all be avoided.

Of course if it was decriminalized to cultivate it then every person who enjoys Pot would grow their own and pay their bills so there would be no business for anyone with a large grow op. This in turn would result in less property crime as no one would need to turn a house into a grow op.

One more reason to push for decrim.

I agree Unf. Most of the people I know who grow, do so a few plants in a window sill, or have a small grow light in an inconspicuous back room. Nothing that would spark a huge energy bill and warrant an investigation

And my friends here in Nova Scotia simply put them in the woods. When you are growing for yourself and possibly a few others, you don't need all the equipment, let mother nature do what she does best

My uncle (may he rest in peace) used to do that... until my dad's bull found the patch. Apparently a bull on a body high is a pretty menacing thing.
