"Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9"

"A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions."

How are Muslim communities within Canada responding to these threats ?
It would be in the interest of these communities to "responde"
The threats and actions of muslims in the middle east, will reflect on Muslim Canadians within Canada.

Non Muslim Canadians react and direct their reactions within Canada to Canadian Muslims.

Is their Muslim Communities responding ? Is their Muslim leaders within Canada taking the proper actions to fight this stereotype on all Muslims.

After announcements such as the 300 suicide bombers, do Muslims within Canada take action to responde as Canadians to indentify themselves apart of the support.

Are the Muslim Communities within Canada, taking the proper steps to deal with the up rising Muslim conflicts.

Do the Muslim Communities set themselves apart from the terrorists by responding ?

Quotes need to be attributed. Information needs to be put into context for anyone else to respond with anything other than vague platitudes.

So please fill in the massive blanks your first post leaves us with.

Just look back and see how we averted danger last year. Many muslims hate Canada and despise Canadian values and freedoms and because of this 17 islamic terrorists attempted an attack in Toronto.

This is a perfect example of terrorists caught in the act in an attempt to kill many Canadians.

BUT, at the same time muslim leader and police informant "Mubin Shaikh" helped prevent these attacks by providing our Law Enforcement with the information needed to prevent these attacks.

SO there, you have ungrateful Toronto Muslims trying to kill us and you also have a muslim who saved us.

And there you go not all muslims are the same but if we keep treating them all as terroists whats to stop them from becoming one?

Ive met alot of muslims who condemn terrorism as cowardly, are they putting on a show? i dunno. BUt i can tell you that most of the muslims who i know who said they dont support terrorism are good folks.

Alot of muslims have helped me with many things and im a blue eyed dirty blonde scandanavian, and in the past id have been a devil to them. But we are working together as canadians in canada. So what does that tell you?

"A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions."

the african rebels use child soliders and are being condemned for it by other africans, and muslims are the same alot of them hate seeing these kind of quotes regardless if there true

Honour our Fallen
It starts with embracing them into your community with a smile, a stop and chat...how are you....eventually it's a 2 minute convo....they feel part of Canada, they want to help .....you can't beat someone into becoming a good citizen....it has to be nurtured and I can think of no better place than your neighborhood ...We as canadians have it in our genes and it gets passed unto the new comers through the pores of their skin.....

You don't here in the media very many official Muslim organizations denouncing terrorism. Why not? Being quiet here sounds like consent. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Change the crap for a channel you're watching, I hear them distance themselves constantly, and while I'm at we give our official state terrorists good wages and medals for the same death and destruction we condemn in S Bombers. Most terrorism is conducted against Muslims not by Muslims ya putz. Yer wrong and I'v corrected you, send the check ,you can get the address on the way out.

We have had quite a few threads on this topic.

Canadian Muslims communities, like their counterparts in the USA, have uniformly condemned violence and extended their hands in brethrenship to their fellow citizens.

Don't you just get sick of the orchestrated condemnation of one group or the other by the MSM, they're such a disgusting lot of enslaved talking heads. I hope to see them all stand trial some day for hate crimes. We are prosecuting Rhawandan radio personalitys for essentially the same thing.

What is the opposite of mass murder by terrorists? Living in peace with your fellow Canadians? I think that is what the majority of muslims living in Canada are doing. That pretty much sets them apart from violent criminals in my eyes. Isn't that what we would ask of them? What other powers do they have to stop terrorists?

Yes I am, they are forigne invaders occupying another nation for the economic gain of our elite. In the prosecution of thier mission more civilians than combatants have been killed by them. I can see no difference between them and car bombers, except they're deadlier and they're on my payroll protecting me from Afghans who pose no threat to the people of Canada. I don't consider the mission legal. Don't mention NATO or the UN to me. Under the terms of the Geneva convention they are guilty of war crimes. They also support a corrupt illegally elected regime. I have every reason to believe they could be successfully prosecuted under international law, and if there is any justice they will be.Further to that our Canadian military has been heavily infiltrated by a forigne power (USA) and for all intents and purposes no longer operate exclusively under the control of the Canadian government. see SPP agreement on full military integration

Oh good, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to mention the UN or Nato. I was personally against the going to Afghanistan in the first place. However, we are there and calling the soldiers doing their job terrorists is sick. There will be no prosecution because our involvement there is desired by the Afghans.

We are not in Afghanistan for economic gain, they have nothing we want.

The Taleban were not a legitemate government, but one faction among many vying for control.

We are not at war with Afghanistan. Our assistance can help the country in many ways like infra structure, food production, establishing rule of law and law enforcement and security.

Your patriotism, Beaver, brings a tear to my eye.

We (Canada) are #6 in arms production and sales, Afghanistan represents convienient targets for the use of munitions which is supported wholeheartedly by our indeginous military industrial complex. We are not in Afghanistan or Hati for altruistic reasons in both cases we are fighting dying and killing to preserve western capital. In the case of Afghanistan we secure the territory needed for a pipeline to the Indian Ocean with stops in both India and Pakistan in Hati we help keep the sweat shops full of wage slaves. In niether case are we helping the rightful inhabitants, but rather ensuring thier dismal brutal futures. My patriotism went down the road with the first free trade deal, if the elite of our nation have none why should I?

I truly feel sorry for you DB. Your pessimism would do me in. Your other beliefs are quite easy to understand, now.

By the same logic if we give hungry people food we are contributing to capitalism as long as we don't steal the food to give it away (see Robing Hood). Or, if we build a transportation system, we are simply supporting filthy capitalist subway contractors. Going to war is not a capitalist enterprise. War costs money, capitalism generates it.

Don't feel sorry for me you're wasteing your tears, you should feel sorry for those you think we're helping, most of the Afghans want all forigne troops out of thier country. Why don't you provide details and links about our heroic efforts instead of assuming that I'm mistaken or misguided or insane. As in Iraq most of the money earmarked for reconstruction and other aid has been looted by western contractors. Your optimism kills me you really have no grounds for it with respect to Afghanistan. Where did you get the idea that we're there for Afghanis, keep in mind there are many conflict zones and drought and starvation and poverty are in many other regions far worse than in Afghanistan. Gain has been the primary motivation for the overwhelming number of wars, very seldom if ever has concern for others ever been considered. Oh and I know what the history books tell us, they lie.

I convinced a young man I worked with this summer to go get some training in electronics. His father(our foreman) wanted him to go into construction, but he didn't want to. I told him he could have a career with CSIS as an interpreter or other information gathering careers. He was all gung ho about that, and set about researching what avenues would best service that end. He's a good Canadian kid. A good Canadian Muslim kid.

Most Muslims are very comfortable here, and they want their peace disturbed as much as you or I. The Toronto plot would have likely happened were it not for the intervention of Muslims who do not share the same message of hate.

No the imbecile community is focused on one stupid story about one stupid person and jumps on it to conduct hate crimes. I'm almost certain that you have backward stupid clergy in your own community. They who can only handle so much what?
