It depends who's telling me and if it makes sense or not. Why do people believe what the government tells them?

Same reason you believe there are conspiracies abound. They're daft.

I have no problem people believing either side of the issue, what bugs me is their total lack of critical thought.

Bush has been in power for 6 years. And for 6 years, alll we have been hearing from the CT nutcases is utter bull****. Bush is planning a coup in the US. Bush's coup in the US failed. Bush is invading Canada. The army is amassing at the Canadian border.

If you want to be up to date with crap, tune into Global Research.ca, don't read their CURRENT articles, read the ARCHIVES, and find ONE single article they were right about, and I'll eat my hat.

I don't know if there is an army massing on the Canadian border but it sure is funny that the military naval forces are now making a show of force in the Persian Gulf. If they aren't careful one of those aircraft carriers might run aground in tha shallow body of water. But there is still something happening along the Afghan-Iranian border. I'll bet those aren't meant to be a show of force either.

The observation of gathering US military on the border is due to war games are taking place with US and Canada, like the Global Guardian combat exercise on 911. NORAD and NATO bi-national training exercise ‘enhancing the security of citizens in both countries’ scheduled for this week which calls for the diversion of Canadian and US fighters to an area near Whitehorse, Yukon, miles away from Ottawa and Washington, D.C., in the Canadian North.

With the accumulation of war ship to Iran and the 15 British hostages, it appears the warnings from Zbigniew Brzezinski to the US Senate ... is something we should be paying attention too, regarding false flags.

ITN and Silky,
The National Security Council who advises this President are either blithering idiots or completely uninformed. These military "exercises" are designed to intimidate other natins. And this takes place while we are negotiating in "Good faith!" Baloney. All that is going on is the ritual dance before the sounds of bombs and cannons begin. While I don't pretend to know any of the facts surrounding the detention (they are detainees really) of the British personnel I can tell you that with the modern day technology of GPS and GIS controls on modern day warships it is haed to figure out how (if it in fact did) that vessel wandered into Iranian waters. None of us will ever know the truth because those handling this situation diplomatically don't even know the meaning of the word truth. Even the act of raising their right hand while holding the other on a bible is interpreted by them as invoking their inherent right to lie. I just hope all will be released unharmed and this will go away just like the Pueblo incident in North korean waters three decades ago.

I have just joined your site and am appalled at the cavalier attitude toward the NAU. This is a fact that three so-called leaders on this continent want to have implemented by 2010. It has been in the works for years and every little change in any of your laws should be suspect. Canadian, American, Mexican leaders - all politicians out for themselves. Your way of life has no meaning to them - nor do they care. A so-called "Safe Port" is planned for Kansas City, coincidentally halfway up the Mississippi River, between Mexico and Canada, which will be under the control of the Mexican government for export/import purposes. Immigrants will be heading your way and the problem will also be yours. The media? What's that? One of the few newspeople reporting on this whole situation and its byproducts is Lou Dobbs, on CNN at 6 pm. The rest of the media seems to be involved in a big coverup. Beware of red herrings that take you away from learning about this coming "New World Order". For further information, should you desire clarification, access Grassfire.com. They can also refer you to other websites regarding this situation. Following is an e-mail I just received from Steve Elliot who is in charge of this website. Please be wary; this is no joke! Sign this petition. Americans and Canadians should be parading around the meeting site on August 20-21 with their country's flags, voicing their objections to the complete upheaval of our way of life.

+ + This may explain why President Bush is pushing the amnesty agenda. -- Steve

If you have been scratching your head trying to figure out why President Bush has pushed so hard for amnesty, here's your "smoking gun."

An effort is underway to create a North American "framework" that will all but eliminate hard borders between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. This "framework" includes a "trusted travelers" program that allows "citizens of North America" to move freely within the three countries.

No wonder the President is pushing amnesty!

On August 20-21, President Bush will join Mexican President Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Harper for the second Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit.

The SPP is what many believe to be the beginnings of the infrastructure for the North American Union. The SPP's stated goal is to:

"...Consolidate our action into a North American framework to confront security and economic challenges,
and promote the full potential of our people, addressing disparities and increasing opportunities for all."

This tri-lateral agreement already has resulted in regulatory changes and open borders initiatives that clearly undermine our sovereignty. The SPP is the one touting the "trusted travelers" program to encourage migration of "citizens of North America."

+ + Petition opposing a North American Union

Today, Grassfire is launching a national petition formally opposing these and other efforts to create a North American "framework" and undermine our nation's sovereignty.

I want to rally 100,000 signers before the SPP meetings this month and have them on hand in Canada as part of a building citizen protest against such efforts.

Please go here for more information and to sign:

http://www.grassfire.org/89/petition.asp?RID=13365567

+ + Exclusive interview with author Jerome Corsi

New York Times bestselling author Jerome Corsi just completed a new book detailing our government's rapid move toward a North American "union." It's called "The Late Great USA."

Corsi agreed to record a special interview "briefing" on the NAU for our Grassfire team members. Go here to listen to that interview and to access Grassfire’s detailed backgrounder on the NAU and the NAFTA superhighway:

http://www.grassfire.org/89/petition.asp?RID=13365567

Of course the President denies that the SPP is a precursor to a North American "Union." But there is
mounting evidence that the SPP is creating precisely that structure -- all without any congressional oversight!

Will you help me rally 100,000 citizens before this latest SPP meeting convenes -- in less than two weeks?

Please sign and then forward this message to your entire email network.

Thanks in advance,

Steve Elliott, President

Welcome mjzkwz and Silky where have you been? Now the Montello lies start too. With the Mexican President having to leave to help with the aftermath of the hurricane I'm sure he left a shopping list. With the oil production temporarily shut down there will be a cash flow problem for the Mexicans. Tourist in Mexico beware. Those highway robberies will increase due to the fact the local government officials want to get paid this coming Friday. The SPP has to be the big issue on the table along with the results of the recent "Amero" unit of currency talks held in Kansas City recently. Canadians, get your firearms ready. When we launch down here we will definitely need your back-up. The US didn't win WW-II. The combined might and brains of the British Commonwealth did most of it. Churchill qwas the mastermind. Roosevelt wanted to give Stalin every thing he came looking for.

As I've said here many times, there is no Amero.

And you shouldn't listen to anyone who purports this silly theory.

One would think that it might be of interest to the $2 trillion a day currency market, what with the US currency the lynch pin of the entire currency market and the global monetary system.

Yet, no one ever seems to say anything about this impending new currency.

Not. One. Single. Time.

It completely discredits all this conspiratorial NAU nonsense.
