I think something will happen, was hoping for Forsberg, but looks like he is going elsewhere,
they say Nashville Detroit or Anaheim, but there will be a few others available who could help.
We still need another center
Yeah, me too, would rather we played with him than against him; Porbably 1 high draft pick, one
good prospect, and one player off our team. I'm sure Nonis has put his offers in, but in the end,
it is Forsberg, who will make decision, as he has no trade contract, so he has choice.

OK, we'll have to get over that now, but maybe we will get Guerin from St.Louis, he is having a
great season, and is free agent at the end of the year, so, he could be rental player or sign with
us next year.
Luongo is getting huge dollars to play well, he is expected to, and he is doing just that.
Would rather have a good team with a great goalie, than a great team with a poor goalie, and that
is what we have had in past years.
Team played well tonight, and revved up game when Colorado pushed them, as Avalanche played much
better than you would expect for a team who are playing back to back, and have been Alberta for four
days, and of course they have Joe Sakic, who is having great season, and they have lots of talent on
their team, but have been getting poor goal keeping, and that has been their undoing this year.
The twins played great, got two goals, and the mat cooke/morrison line is playing great, and are
gelling just at the right time, as we are getting close to playoffs now.
We had one goal called back, which should have counted, as they tripped our player coming into
scoring position, and puck went into net, legally, poor call, but didn't affect outcome of game, so
that is good.
Come on Kreskin, watch the whole game, the goalie is always expected to give his team
a chance to win, and Luongo does that, but as usual, you won't give the team one iota
of credit for anything, and thought you were going to have more fun watching paint dry,
or figure skating.
Luongo played well again, and made key save in last period to keep us in the lead,
but he did let in one "dribbler" that he should have stopped, but all is fine, because
we won, so those gliches don't matter now.

So are we going to soon have the Rothmans Cup instead of the Stanley Cup or Grey Cup ... because advertising will bring something like 10 million dollars to the sports club? Oh yah, cigarette and alcohol companies can't advertise in Canada ... so maybe the Pepsi Cup or Mattel Cup? That was on the news last week ... that the names will be sold for profit. Should American companies be allowed to advertise or should advertising be restricted to Canadian companies? Is 10 million enough no matter what? Did anyone else see this news? Did everyone already talk about it and I missed it?

From what I have heard, whatever name is at the beginning, it will still be called Stanley Cup
eg. "TALLOOLA STANLEY CUP", (I wish), because Lord Stanley was the donator of the cup, and
they cannot take his name away.
Still, not being a hockey fan or anything, I found the whole idea quite wrong, if not offensive. Shouldn't hockey and maybe football fans be making a little more noise about ensuring that Canadian traditions or icons are observed ... like the Stanley or Grey Cup? Even changing the name season to season is an offense. Did Stanley really leave it open legally or did he imply that his name would not be suffixed or prefixed for advertising? I don't know anything about Stanley or hockey ... in fact I've been to plenty of games where I don't even know which team I'm rooting for. Enough about me ... but the Stanley Cup should remain the Stanley Cup or sell the teams to the Americans and let another league take on the name. How about if some sports fans have a say about it?
In the case of the Grey Cup, I don't really care, as long as the Name is put before "Grey Cup" which
I believe it will be, as the CFL needs the money, but in the case of the Stanley Cup, don't really
know why they have to do it, there is lots of money floating around, they don't "need" it, but again,
as long as "Stanley Cup" follows the new name, it doesn't bother me at all, and I am an avid hockey
fan, and always know who I'm cheering for. lol
Great game for canucks, beat the ducks 3-2 in overtime, first win for Danny Saborin, good for him,
he missed having first win in Buffalo, as they beat us in shoot out.
Markus Naslund had a great game, he has been playing much better recently, now has 20 goals,
and we need him more than ever now, getting close to playoffs, and it's looking pretty good for
us to feel confident we will be in the post season. Mat Cooke also played great, as he had to

Close division. Either 3rd in conference or fighting for 8th place. Big gap between 8th and 9th so should make playoffs.
We did manage to come away with 2 points, but spent most of the night killing penalties, which
prevented us from getting much going, and no flow, but Bieksa made a beautiful shot with about
3 or 4 minutes to go, and that was enough.
If anyone hasn't been following the Los Angelos Kings this year, then they don't know how many
good players they have. They have struggled without a good goalie, and so many injuries early
on, but we knew how tough this game would be, as their team is very good, and if they have a
good goalie next year, they will do much better, and hard to beat.

game, there was no room out there for the whole game for anyone, but our penalties did hurt us
in the end.
We go to St.Louis now, play them on Tuesday, they don't have Tkachuk, as he was traded today to
Atlanta Thrashers, Atlanta gave up too much for him, as a rental player, and I don't think Tkachuk
will sign with Atlanta next year, he will probably come back to St. Louis to finish off his career.
We are having a very good road trip, if we can beat St. Louis on Tuesday, we will come home with
7 points of a possible 8.
