Of course. Rogan himself states that he has "zero understanding" of the Canadian political system.

Obviously, that's where a Canadian wannabe should show up. Impresses all the troglodytes.

Actually, I'll give it a listen. I enjoy the podcasts when I'm driving. Bill Maher: Reel Time and Club Random are fun listens.
Rogan is on my playlists, but I'm not an MMA guy, so I don't listen to everything he does.

Most Canadians don’t understand Canadian political system. In theory we have equal representation, but an MP in Alberta represents roughly 3 times as many people as an MP in PEI.

Little over 2hrs in & by no means is it a political advertisement, for a little bit initially…but it’s all over the place and mostly Martial arts, etc…& it has been interesting. About 20 minutes left.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre sat down with the popular, but controversial podcast host Joe Rogan for a wide-ranging conversation that’s set to be seen by millions.

Their more-than two-hour conversation focused on health and exercise, Poilievre’s political career, and major Canadian political storylines, including the Freedom Convoy, assisted dying, immigration and the current push to approve more major energy projects.

Poilievre also pushed back against U.S. President Donald Trump’s rhetoric to make Canada the 51st state and turned down a chance to criticize Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The announcement that Poilievre’s U.S. tour would intentionally not include a stop in Washington, D.C. initially raised some eyebrows.

In the Rogan interview, Poilievre spoke at length about the strategy and rationale behind his decision to leave the trade negotiations to the governing Liberals, while doing what he can to talk Canada up to any American who will listen.

“I believe in the rule of ‘one prime minister at a time,’” he said. “I fought like hell to win. I didn’t win. We came very close. So I’ve said, ‘listen, I’ll leave it to the prime minister to do the negotiating.’”

“Even in my visit down here, I’m sending (Carney) text messages to tell him what’s going on, try and support his work,” Poilievre also said. “Because we both want what’s best for Canada.”

Later on in the interview, Poilievre said he wouldn’t criticize Carney “on foreign soil,” a stance Rogan said was “such a Canadian thing to do.”

“We have a mutual respect,” Poilievre said.

A significant portion of the podcast focused on health and fitness.

Maybe you get the representation you deserve.
Well, we did I guess. Trumps repeated hammering of the “51st State” & “Governor (insert PM)” panicked Eastern Canada, & Carney won the election. It is what it is.

Anyway, here’s the CBC’s short take & spin on Poilievre on Rogan…& even they’re stretching to find fault in this.

Yep. Democracy is a no-excuses business. If you end up with an asshole like Dipshit Donny in charge, it's either because you didn't vote, or because you chose somebody who couldn't make their case.

In our case, the system was set up to favour the East before we were even part of Canada. Alberta was a comparitive late comer to Confederation as a province and somehow didn't check the fine print. Much of this was done by Englishmen, either still in England or right off the boat into Eastern Canada. and they have never believed in democracy anyways. Alberta is almost at the Boston Tea Party stage right now.

Well. . . a quarter of a millennium and you're still playing with your dicks. Grab a flag and a rifle and get stuck in, or be another internet whiner.

Your choice.

As far as your "Boston Tea Party" bullshit, you should really read the actual history. Suffice to say it wasn't the revolutionary act you seem to think it was.
