Anyway, read it. Can’t believe the global intelligence agencies don’t verify their information…multiple independent sources, etc…but maybe I watched too much TV as a child or something…going forward to the current…

Tehran warned Israel's allies that their regional military bases would come under fire too if they help shoot down Iranian missiles, Iranian state television reported.

However, 20 months of war in Gaza and a conflict in Lebanon last year have decimated Tehran's strongest regional proxies, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, reducing its options for retaliation, but they’ve still got the Houthi’s so they’ve got that going for them. What will Saudi Arabia do here?

Gulf Arab states that have long mistrusted Iran but fear coming under attack in any wider conflict have urged calm as worries about disruption to the Gulf region's crucial oil exports boosted the price of crude by about 7% on Friday.

Iranian general and parliament member Esmail Kosari said the country was seriously reviewing whether to close the Strait of Hormuz, the outlet for oil shipped from the Gulf.

Dubya made the mistake of trusting Israel.

Are you aware Israel attacked Iraq in 1981 using the same line aboot WMDs as 2003 and the same line today on Iran? Are we going to find out 18 monthd from now that Iran had no nuke weapon program?

So how did their missiles manage to hit IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv yesterday?

Israel's military headquarters were struck after Iran's Islamic Republic unleashed a barrage of missiles on central Tel Aviv late Friday night, causing “significant damage” to the Jewish state's equivalent of the Pentagon.4 hours ago

That's pretty fucking embarrassing for Israel.

Uh oh indeed. It is a shitshow.

It did not take long for initial reports to pour in. We now know that Israel has unleashed a brilliantly planned attack on the Iranian war leadership and operational capability. Dozens of precision strikes were carried out, assassinating top officials in their apartments, leaving a gaping hole in a building while the rest was largely untouched.
1749910812420.jpegIt is believed that the top echelons of Iranian military, air force and civilian leadership has been wiped out. The impact on decision making and chain of command is devastating. Scientists who were instrumental in developing and enhancing Iran’s nuclear capabilities were also targeted. Within minutes a regime was decimated.

(Might have to wait for word from the Gaza Health Authority to confirm or deny this as a fact-checking exercise though)
1749914335060.jpegTurks (a UN and NATO Member?) will be fighting Israel (a UN, but not NATO Member) over Syria in a year, and what will Saudi Arabia do? Just mop up the Houthi’s or something else? Yes Turks & Israelis are cooperating to flush Syria of Iranian influence at this point (turfing of Bashar al-Assad, etc…) but this isn’t a permanent arrangement by any means.
1749913796002.jpegAssad is out, & Iran potentially (if temporarily) neutered, there’s not much reason for Turkey & Israel to continue cooperating over Syria, so yeah, I could see them budding heads over Syria in the not too distant future.
