Where is the source? Wisconsin?
Northwest Indiana. Google earth the Middlebury Elkhart Goshen Shipshewana area and try to count the RV manufacturing plants. It’s crazy. That’s where about 99% of this industry is located manufacturing wise with a dribble in Idaho, a couple in Oregon, a bit in California and Pennsylvania, etc…

The left ventricle of the heart of tornado alley. Go figure.

So if tariffs were real, a short rush of getting as many to Emmerson and stockpiling would would be your last stand.

We are already doing that. Anything for any of our BC & Alberta dealers is piling up in a holding yard in Manitoba.

We’re still running stuff to the Saskatchewan in Manitoba dealers directly.

We ourselves, for our 25-ish Canadian dealerships that we haul to, deal with about 60 manufacturing plants in that area above that I’m describing, and that’s not all of them by any means.

“We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the USA,” he posted on Truth Social. “And therefore, until it stops, or is seriously limited, the proposed TARIFFS scheduled to go into effect on MARCH FOURTH will, indeed, go into effect as scheduled.”

Mr. Trump had paused the threatened tariffs Feb. 3 for 30 days after Canada and Mexico pledged new measures to strengthen surveillance of their shared borders with the United States as well as more efforts to fight the illegal production and distribution of the opioid fentanyl.

Public Safety Minister David McGuinty, Immigration Minister Marc Miller and Ottawa’s new fentanyl czar are in Washington for several days of meetings as Canada tries to persuade the Trump administration to relent the March 4 tariffs. The threatened tariff on Canadian energy shipments and critical minerals would be 10 per cent, etc…

The ministers and fentanyl czar Kevin Brosseau are scheduled to meet with U.S. border czar Tom Homan Thursday, etc…

Mr. Trump also reminded Canada and Mexico that additional tariffs will be applied on countries April 2. “The April Second Reciprocal Tariff date will remain in full force and effect,” he said.

Additionally, the United States has announced 25 per cent tariffs on global imports of steel and aluminum, including from Canada.

U.S. tariffs will stack on top of each other, meaning Canadian steel and aluminum shipments to the United States could face a combined total of 50 per cent tariffs.

Has Canada put a tariff on motor homes and accessories ? Trump’s tariffs are on imports not exports .

Yes, you are correct…& what will the Canadian government do in response? And when?

Then what will Trump do in response to the response? And so on…?
When an election is called before April 2 the threats go away. Maybe it was a bad idea to bury the Dec 17 deal and pimp the now.gone threat?

🤞. Until that point, unless that happens, we’re doing everything we can to try and bulletproof our dealers from as much of the potential tariffs and reciprocal tariffs and reciprocal-reciprocal tariffs as we possibly can.

I hope you’re right. I really do. I’m working away on the assumption that you aren’t.
That is a reasonable position. I’m more familiar n with the softwood lumber tariffs than anything, and that was a push by US timber barrons with connections to get more money for their inferior lumber.

Well, you could potentially add 25% onto the 14 1/2% for that tariff
Or another 11%? Going to really suck for people trying to to rebuild in LA. Obummer and Biden put a significant crimp on US timber supply on Federal lands. Simple fact is, they do not have the timber volume to meet their own needs.
