This is why Canada and Western society are in the toilet right now. I know I said this before, but it's time for the Canadian government to get back to work on the priorities of running a country. The Neo-Socialist experiment was a failure. Budgets don't balance themselves. The carbon tax does not change the temperature on the planet. And the identity politics have no place in government.

For the most part, nobody cares who you sleep with (as long as it is not kids)
How you dress (But 80s clothing is iffy)
Who you marry (as long as it's not kids)
We don't care. We're just sick of you screaming about it.
I don't remember anyone taking issue on a national level until the alphabet folks became a tyrannical minority and started dictating identity politics.
A recent poll showed that 70% of Canadians want an election right now.

The revolution will be televised.

Has it ever occurred to you, RCS, that maybe people for whom these are important issues are sick of you screaming about their screaming?

I'm not screaming. In the last decade, we went from a gay community that was accepted and integrated into Canada until it became a tyrannical minority and began attacking people who disagreed with any of its narratives. Although not Canadian, the JK Rowling story exemplifies how this movement became militant. What set off the feud was a sensitive, balanced op-ed piece Rowling wrote in which she challenged the idea that a trans woman is a woman. I read the article, and there wasn't a hateful word in it, but they mounted an assault against Rowling and called her a TERF, which I had to look up. (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) Rowling was a shining example for any writer; she was a single mom on social assistance when she wrote Harry Potter. An inspiration to women: follow your dream, don't give up. But she would not accept the narrative that a trans woman is a woman. I mean, they could be a trans woman and marry whoever they wanted. Rowling's issue is that women have fought long and hard for every right. She just said what the rest of us are thinking. If you want to be trans, cool, but if you want to claim womanhood, that's another matter.

You're talking about how "sick" you are. I'm sick of people screaming about the Washington Commanders football team, but I don't bellyache about it on the internet.

Don't get me wrong. . . I fully support your (and their) right to scream about whatever particular bug is up your ass. I would pledge my life, fortune, and sacred honor (not that I have much of the first left, and never did have much of the last) to defend your right to piss and moan.

I'm just saying that I'm not sure how pissing and moaning about pissing and moaning does anything but increase the sum-total of pissing and moaning.

Gay is a sexual orientation, while transgender is a gender identity.

I know a shit tonne of gays that hate the trans and gender movement and rightly so. They are older and were there risking getting their skulls bashed in in the first parades. Now they have no voice. In their day going trans was to make more money as hookers.

The real issue at hand is "why are taints shrinking and setting off hormonal imbalances?"

Wah wah wah. They have a voice. Each of them has a voice, and if they want to amplify it, get together with like-minded folk and yell in chorus.

The desire to shut somebody up kinda naturally leads to attempts, legal and not-so-much, to force them to shut up.

They try but get labeled "transphobic".

To convert a measurement in centimeters to a measurement in inches, you can use a simple formula. Since one inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters, the formula used to convert is:

inches = centimeters ÷ 2.54

The length in inches is equal to the length in centimeters divided by 2.54.

Its rounded up but close enough. A micro meter is SFA. I know both systems inside out and backwards. A 20oz US pint sounds like a better deal than a 16oz IMP pint but pint glasses in Canada are 500ml rather than 473ml in 16/20oz pint glass.

Yes, of course. You know everything. Comprehensively. Anybody who doubts that can just ask you.
