Mississauga mayor says radical Islam conference not welcome
But the exact location of the planned Jan. 18 event, hosted by Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada, is not yet known

The hunt is on to determine just where a radical Islamic conference aimed at defeating the “colonialists” is set to take place in Mississauga.

While scheduled to be held Jan. 18, so far the location is a secret. What isn’t secret is the meeting’s theme.

“The Khilafah, eliminating the obstacles that are delaying its return,” states a social media post promoting the conference, where people are encouraged to sign up for the event put on by Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada.

On its website, Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada describes itself as a “political party whose ideology is Islam, so politics is its work and Islam is its ideology.”

Khilafah means Caliphate, which is a society run by Islamic rule. Hizb-ut-Tahrir Canada has so far not commented.

However, Mississauga Mayor Carolyn Parrish wrote in a message posted on X that “preaching hate of any kind is a federal criminal offence. All we as a municipality can do is not rent our facilities to potential hate mongers, try to track down where the conference is being held and inform the police.”

Parrish also told the Toronto Sun “our staff is attempting to track down which private facility is hosting the conference so we can share what we know about the Hizb ut-Tahrir with the management” and “we have also alerted Pearson Airport authorities to carefully monitor passports to deny entry to those on Canada’s banned lists.”

Western Standard journalist Jarryd Jager, who brought this information to the public’s attention, describes Hizb ut-Tahrir as group that advocates for Sharia Law and an Islamic world.

A Facebook video featuring an unnamed man, shot with Mississauga landmarks in the background, promotes the opportunity to “learn what it will take for our Ummah to overcome America, Europe, Russia, China, and others from the position we’re in today” and “if you want to help create real change in our Ummah, then get this critical knowledge by attending, Insha’Allah.”

It also says “the colonialists will point to their technology, vast armies, giant economies, and their pervasive influence,” but he said “none of this power compares to the might of Allah” and doesn’t “stand” against “the strength Allah has given our Ummah.”

Wherever it’s held, Meir Weinstein, of Israel Now, said, “We will confront it,” adding, “we are working to have the conference shut down, but if it isn’t, we will be outside protesting a conference that has declared war against Western civilization, which includes Jews, Christians, Sikhs. Hindus and all non-believers, including Muslims who don’t follow this barbaric doctrine.”

It’s always interesting how hard it is for authorities to say something like this needs to be cancelled, yet it was so easy for them to cancel iconic Mississauga resident Don Cherry for merely saying “you people” should wear a poppy at Remembrance Day.

Fascinating how some are offended by saying Merry Christmas but anything else goes. There are so many double standards and Cherry, who playfully mocked the anti-Christmas sentiment in a Dec. 25 post on X, was the catalyst to pointing out all of this madness way back in 2019.

It seems when it comes to radical Islam planting its flag in Canada – like it did New Years Eve outside Union Station – leaders are afraid to touch it.

“Hizb ut-Tahrir is known internationally for its problematic and extremist ideology and has been recognized in other jurisdictions as a extremist entity,” B’nai Brith Director of Research and Advocacy Richard Robertson said. “B’nai Brith Canada has grave concerns about its upcoming conference and the affect if might have on Canadian society.”

But this event, while promoted in the video where what appears to be Taliban flag is prominent, is being billed as family friendly. At this “free event,” Hizb ut-Tahrir offers a lunch and babysitting to hear speakers Abu Omar talk about “nationalism and the regimes and frontline enemies of Islam” and Malik Abu Luqman talk about “the colonialist powers” and Bilal Khan talk about Palestine and Dr. Gelani talk about “despairing in the victory of Allah” in which “trusting him is an obligation.”

“We do have a duty to ensure no one on our staff inadvertently rented one of our public facilities to them and that has been checked and confirmed they are not in one of our buildings,” Parrish said. “Further, as a responsible organization we are checking out banquet halls they have used before to alert the owners.”

This comes at a time when the Greater Toronto Area has experienced non-stop antisemitic, pro-Hamas demonstrations and just weeks after a group who planned a martyrs’ vigil for the late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was cancelled at City Hall out of concern it could be seen as something in very bad taste in light of the more than 100 Israeli hostages still being held and the more than 1,200 innocent souls slain on Oct 7, 2023.

At the time the martyrs’ vigil was cancelled, Parrish took a lot of heat for suggesting she could not stop any protest in the public square.

This time, however, she told me it is “quite a different issue from previous marches and vigils in that the group has been banned from our facilities for over ten years based on openly discussing overthrowing democracies including ours.”

Peel Regional Police told the Sun it is aware of the event and is “actively monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of our communities,” adding, “At this time, we do not have any information that would indicate there is a threat to public safety. However, please know that we will not tolerate any acts of hate or violence within the region.

The RCMP and the Prime Minister’s office have yet to comment.

“Definitely a federal issue when it comes to refusing admission to Canada by those on terror watch lists,” she said.

But it could be Mississauga’s problem Jan 18th because although last year’s event was cancelled, this one appears to still be on.

Muslim rape gangs targeted tens of 1000s of poor white girls as authorities ran cover

Grooming gang victim Victoria Agoglia
Grooming gang victim Victoria Agoglia died of a heroin overdose at 15. Cops and social workers ignored her pleas for help.
“Thomas, have you seen the demographics of my riding?” — Melanie Joly to Thomas Mulcair on her predilection for not supporting Israel.

Cops responded to calls of screaming. At a residence in the north of England, they found two 13-year-old girls naked and drunk in the company of seven adult men.

The girls were charged with public intoxication. The British-Pakistani men skated.

Political correctness is having a moment of reckoning in the U.K. For decades, so-called “grooming gangs” comprised of mostly Pakistani immigrants raped and abused poor and vulnerable white girls, many in care homes.

Usman Ali, Gul Riaz, Banaras Hussain, Abdul Majid were part of yet another sex grooming gang. They operated with immunity.
Some estimates put the number of victims at more than 200,000. Yet cops, bureaucrats, social workers and prosecutors desperately tried to sweep the sickening scandal under the carpet.

And the reason they did nothing? “Demographics” and fear of being accused of being racist. Wokeness gone mad.

In 2020, at a sentencing hearing for yet another grooming gang in Huddersfield, Judge Geoffrey Marson did not mince words.

“It (political correctness) allowed predatory men to perpetrate gross sexual abuse for their own perverted gratification,” Marson said.

These nine men were convicted of being members of a sex grooming gang who raped vulnerable underage girls.
“They were planned offences by a large group of Asian men. The way these girls were treated defies understanding. The abuse was vile and wicked.”

***

And now, the rape gangs are back in the news. Oldham council has called for a government-led nationwide inquiry into the horror show that stretches from Bristol in the south to Glasgow.

Labour “Safeguarding” Minister Jess Phillips torpedoed the idea. Of course, the fact that Prime Minister Keir Starmer was head of the Crown Prosecution Service at the time (and kicked many of the sex charges to the curb) may be playing a role.

To many on the U.K. left, the twisted sex gangs are racist right-wing bogeymen.

Ali’s sick sex grooming gang.
But reports were blocked, arrests torpedoed, and any connection to ethnicity, immigration, or Islam was underplayed. That blew in the face of ice-cold facts.

One recent study revealed that in Telford, one in 126 Muslim men were prosecuted for sex grooming between 1997 and 2017. In infamous Rotherham, it was one in 73.

Many others remain on the streets or are fighting deportation. Those caged received light sentences.

In some instances, the victims’ fathers took matters into their own hands. They were the ones arrested.

***

As for those covering up, there have been no consequences. One Labour MP opposed further inquiries while in Rotherham, there were 265 misconduct allegations involving 47 cops. Not one has been fired.

The left fired back following 20 convictions in Huddersfield. The wokeists were less than pleased with comments made by Conservative Home Secretary Sajid Javid.

He tweeted: “These sick Asian pedophiles are finally facing justice. I want to commend the bravery of the victims. For too long, they were ignored. Not on my watch. There will be no no-go areas.”

Cue Labour stalwarts who thought it unfair Javid pinned “the blame on one group.”

Javid fired back: “When I made that comment I was stating the facts, and the sad truth is that if you look at recent high-profile convictions of gang-based child sexual exploitation there is a majority of people that come from Pakistani heritage backgrounds — that’s plain for everyone to see.”

***

The issue first exploded in 2013 in Rotherham in South Yorkshire. Investigators determined that the sexual abuse and exploitation started in the late 1980s. Everyone knew. No one did a thing. At least 1,400 girls from 11 to 16 were brutalized.

The children would be picked up by South Asian taxi drivers and delivered to their degradation, often in exchange for drugs and booze — the abuse perpetrated by British-Pakistani men.

Cops say Basharat Khaliq, 45, was the sex grooming gangs ringleader.
According to investigators, the abuse included gang rape, forcing the girls to watch others be raped, soaking them in gas and threatening to burn them alive, and threatening to rape their moms and younger sisters.

And then, they were trafficked to other towns.

***

Sarah Wilson was only 13 when she was gang-raped by a small army of faceless men. She was lying on a dirty mattress, off her head on cocaine and cheap vodka. Her rapists were in their 50s.

She was raped every week until she turned 16 and was considered too old for the South Asian rapists. At her care home, instead of raising questions, social workers paid the cabbies.

“When I was 14, I called up the police to report a rape. They asked when it happened. I said two months ago, but told them I got raped on a regular basis,” Wilson told Big Issue in 2015.

Sex sicko Ahdel Ali, who was the ringleader of a UK sex grooming gang, was slashed across his face with a razor blade.
“They said there’s nowt we can do about it. That was the end of the conversation. They didn’t come out to see me. That was it.”

She added: “The authorities did not want to know. They blamed us. I have to put the scandal down to them. They could have stopped it 16 years ago and they chose not to. They called us white trash.”

***

The abuse has struck a chord with Elon Musk who claims the “safeguarding minister” “deserves to be in prison.”

Musk said: “In the U.K., serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service’s approval for the police to charge suspects. Who was the head of the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service]) when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice?

“Keir Starmer, 2008-2013.”

RAPE GANG SURVIVOR: Sarah Wilson was raped starting when she was 12 or 13.
RAPE GANG SURVIVOR: Sarah Wilson was raped starting when she was 12 or 13.
Starmer has become known as “Two-Tier Keir” for his zealous prosecution of little old ladies saying bad things on social media yet allowing Muslim sex assault suspects a free ride.

***

Melanie Joly could have been channelling the UK Labour Party when she moaned about the demographics in her riding.

Former Rochdale Labour MP Simon Danczuk told GB News he was warned by senior party figures not to mention the ethnicity or religion of the rape gang perpetrators. Electoral impact and all that.

“What surprised me more than anything is that I had senior politicians tell me not to mention the ethnicity or religious bias of those perpetrators,” Danczuk said on Friday.

He added: “They said it would affect the Labour vote. It was quite clear. They were quite clear about that.”

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT; Arabic: حزب التحرير, romanized: Ḥizb at-Taḥrīr, lit. 'Party of Liberation') is an international pan-Islamistand Islamic fundamentalist political organization whose stated aim is the re-establishment of the Islamic caliphate to unite the Muslim community (called ummah) and implement sharia globally.
1736088110711.jpeg
A “global” caliphate…to get rid of the colonizers? The organization sees world history as an eternal conflict between Islam and non-believers, with the state system considered a historical assault on Islam.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has been banned in Bangladesh, China, Russia, Pakistan, India, Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and "across Central Asia", Indonesia, and all Arab countriesexcept Lebanon, Yemen and the UAE.

"Islamic lands" to make up the HT Caliphate include not only Muslim-majority countries but also include Muslim-majority regions—such as Xinjiang, the Caucasus, and Kazan(in Russia), even though they have been part of non-Muslim countries for many years; and states/regions which have had a non-Muslim majority population for many years—such as northern India, East Timor, southern Spain, Sicily, Crimea, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Myanmar and the Philippines—that were once "ruled by Muslims under the authority of Islam".

Hmmmm….somehow, Israel isn’t mentioned above. Kinda queer that?

HT founder an-Nabhani, explains[145] that while some believe that a country "whose population is of non-Muslims", like Spain, "is not an Islamic country; ... This conclusion is false. ... because a country is deemed Islamic if it was once ruled by Islam or if the majority of its population is of Muslims." So that "Spain is indeed an Islamic country".

This also sounds very familiar, & I’ve brought this up previously but…

Hizb ut-Tahrir sees the Caliphate as eventually replacing not only Muslim states but Western non-Muslim ones, but whether it calls for violence to achieve this is disputed?

The group views Jihad as an essential aspect of its vision and considers it an imperative duty aimed at combating disbelief until all submit to Islamic rule, making no distinction between the violent and spiritual dimensions of Jihad.

Regardless, sounds like a fun Saturday night coming to Mississauga, to bring the “moderates (?)” out for board games and bonding to the benefit of all.

The bizarre surrender of U.K. authorities to evil rape gangs

Grooming gang victim Victoria Agoglia died of a heroin overdose at 15. Cops and social workers ignored her pleas for help.
The gang rapes of thousands of young British girls should cause anyone with a soul to recoil in horror.

Here’s the TV Guide description: Rape gangs — typically comprised of Pakistani immigrants to the U.K. — preyed upon vulnerable, working-class white girls. The rapists called them “whores” and “white slags.”

Ages of the victims? Between 12 and 16. After that, they “aged out” and the rape gangs sought younger prey.

Most people are appalled.

Some are not. One man wrote that reporters from “gutter journalism” outlets like the Times of London is “making it all up”.

Last week, I received an email from a man who sent me his U.K. friend’s summation of the scandal. It was drearily predictable.

Most of these horrors were known in the country’s de-industrialized north, but nothing was done until 2011. Girls who came forward were liars and advised it was better for “community cohesion” if they kept their mouths shut.

Sickos. Usman Ali, Gul Riaz, Banaras Hussain, Abdul Majid were part of yet another sex grooming gang. They operated with immunity.
Cops, social workers and local politicians kept it all on the down low because they didn’t want to be accused of racism.

The latest developments are squarely targeting Labour Party politicians now accused of trying to brush it all under the rug. Countless rapists have been caged, but the affair leaves a sickening taste in one’s mouth.

Even Elon Musk has weighed in on the horror show, leaving the left Brit establishment to sputter furiously. This leads me to the email I received.

The correspondent was “shocked and surprised” by a story I did for The Toronto Sun.

These nine men were convicted of being members of a sex grooming gang who raped vulnerable underage girls.
Here’s a taste: “I don’t know where these so-called reporters are getting their information from, but it seems like the poor deluded Elon Musk, they are pretty much making it all up.”

John claims the number of victims is overblown. Investigative processes to be followed. Insufficient evidence. Takes a shot at Musk.

And lest we think it’s Pakistani rape gangs, John claims: “Some of them have involved members of the Asian community with Pakistani heritage, but it is only a small number. There are just as many from White British Heritage.”

Cops say Basharat Khaliq, 45, was the sex grooming gang’s ringleader.
Then there’s the media’s “racist agenda.”

John puffing on his pipe, adds: “The collusion implied by poorly researched articles like the one in the Toronto Star [sic] would be on such a grand scale it is — if thought about rationally — quite purely ridiculous.

“Again, may I thank you for your concern, but this is just sensationalist gutter press trying to sell newspapers, I would happily invite their journalists to do some proper research and come and see for themselves rather than be lazy regurgitating and ‘piggy-backing’ off sensationalist nonsense from other poorly researched sources.”

The base desires of the rapists are pretty clear. But why the cooperation and surrender of authorities?

“Their motives seem to derive from the rich stew of progressive absurdities that constitute official attitudes in modern Britain,” John O’Sullivan wrote in the National Review.

“The first is the fear of being suspected of racism. Again and again, the police and the social workers shrank from intervening or responding to complaints because to do so would invite the accusation that they were ‘racist.'”

He added: “To uncover such scandal would be not only racist, it would commit a sin against the ideal of multiculturalism that now actuates much official policy . . .”

Sound familiar?

Turns out the Southport Stabber, who killed three girls in Engerland and resulted in riots when it was reported that he was an immigrant, was actually a born-and-bred Brit.

So should they kick all the Brits out of Britain, or just let him go?

More than 3,000 immigration department jobs to be cut, union says
These workers at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada process applications for citizenship, permanent and temporary residency and passports, as well as conducting interviews.

The union representing employees at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada says 3,300 jobs will soon be cut from the department.

These workers process applications for citizenship, permanent and temporary residency and passports, as well as conducting interviews, “ensuring Canada can attract the talent needed to strengthen our economy,” the Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) said in a statement Monday.

The CEIU represents more than 7,000 workers at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, as well as employees at Service Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada, and the Immigration and Refugee Board.

“IRCC’s announcement provided no clear details about who this drastic workforce reduction will impact, stating only that further information would follow in mid-February, effectively leaving thousands of Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) members in a climate of uncertainty while they deliver critical public services,” the statement read.

“Last month, immigration processing wait times continued to reach record-breaking backlog levels, and these cuts will only worsen an already dire situation,” Rubina Boucher, CEIU National President, said in a media statement. “Families longing to reunite, businesses grappling with critical labour shortages, communities struggling with housing that needs builders, and a healthcare system desperate for skilled workers will all suffer the consequences of this decision.”

In November 2024, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) said the Liberal government was looking to reduce spending by cutting term and casual employees, with layoffs also extending to permanent employees.

Earlier in 2024, the federal government announced it would seek to cut the size of the public service by 5,000 full-time positions primarily through natural attrition over the course of four years, as part of an effort to save $15.8 billion over five years and reallocate it elsewhere.

The union’s statement said CEIU and PSAC urged the government “to collaborate on real solutions, such as replacing expensive outsourcing contracts with in-house expertise to build a stronger immigration system that supports Canada’s future.”

Immigration minister Marc Miller had previously announced drastic cuts to targets for permanent residents admitted to Canada over the next two years, as well as tighter rules around worker permits. He also said further reforms to Canada’s immigration and refugee system were necessary.

IRCC spokesperson Jessica Kingsbury said in an emailed statement that IRCC had expanded in recent years to address global crises like the COVID-19 pandemic, and to “support record immigration levels that boosted economic recovery and addressed labour shortages.”

That growth was based on temporary funding, she said, which was never intended to be permanent.

“Staffing within IRCC is being adjusted to align with reduced levels and permanent funding,” Kingsbury said.

The 3,300 job cuts will take place over three years, she said, and will impact “various degrees every sector and every branch across IRCC, both domestically and internationally, in HQ and in the regions, and at all levels, including up to the executive levels.”

She didn’t specify how many jobs will be lost in the national capital region.

About 80 per cent of layoffs will be “achieved by reducing staffing commitments and our temporary workforce,” she said, while the other 20 per cent will be permanent positions.

“Budget decisions will focus on maintaining border security and enforcing immigration laws, while evaluating how best to deliver our programs and services.”
