15 people killed in New Orleans, turns out he was just going to kill his family, but wanted to be remembered so killed a bunch of innocent folks in New Orleans.
First off, you don't know if he was "Islamic" or a "Nazi".
Second, yes, pretty much that would still fall under the "Just 'nuther day in 'Murica". Acknowledging that America is a fucked up nation where shit like this happens a lot doesn't negate that it's a fucking tragedy. In fact, it makes that WORSE.

ISIS flag doesn't mean he was "Muslim". It means he likely supported ISIS. If it comes out he was Muslim, THEN you've a leg to stand on.

Egan is an asshole. And a criminal. I disagree with the Post's characterization of him as White. He's an asshole, and therefore pinkish or brown, depending on how carefully he wipes. That's all that matters.
Pretty much. Though I would add the caveat that race for some people pushes them to be assholes and criminals so it can't be discounted. And then it's the age of "Clickbait", so throwing in the "White" into the story will draw people in. Other headlines I saw looking the story up didn't mention the guy's race at all, just called it "biased motivated".
But overall, yeah, asshole and criminal.
