Well since I can't talk to those same people to confirm it; sure, okay. It's not a stretch that there are furries in the military;
I gotta know how a furrie could possibly pass the psychological exam to even get into the military?

Because cosplay isn't a mental condition.

Unless you think all cosplay is, then we'd best call mascots mentally ill, we'd best cancel all conventions that enable cosplay - sci fi, Comiccon, etc.

When someone claims to be a furry, that's a "what I do in my spare time thing". Costumes can cost thousands of dollars and take a year plus to make for the higher end stuff.

They were known for doing a lot of charity work at every Con.

Do some go overboard? Take it too far? Do shitty things and call it "Because I'm a furry"? Sure. And those types are kicked out/ostracized by the fandom/community.

Granted, what some people call Furry might actually be Otherkin - those are the more Spiritual/Religious based animal worshipers, the ones who feel their 'souls' are animals whether real or mythological. And that's a whole other thing.

But furries? I'm sure you'd be shocked at the real life professions that some furries have.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland declined to say Tuesday whether she has received assurances from the Prime Minister that she will be staying in her cabinet post, despite having a series of in-depth meetings with Justin Trudeau over the last four days.

In her first news conference since The Globe and Mail reported last week about concerns by senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office about Ms. Freeland, she was careful not to say what would happen next.

“I just consider it a real privilege every day to do my best to serve Canada and Canadians,” Ms. Freeland said.

The Finance Minister, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, said she had a long conversation with Mr. Trudeau on Friday, spent much of Saturday with him at events in the Greater Toronto Area and also travelled to Ottawa on Monday to meet with him again.

She twice avoided answering whether she had received assurances from Mr. Trudeau, saying “he is really capable of speaking for himself.”
“To serve as minister in a cabinet, you do need the support and confidence of the Prime Minister, that is especially true for the deputy prime minister and finance minister,” Ms. Freeland said…which says nothing about the current situation, which is almost an art form for Liberal Cabinet Ministers…being asked a question and making noises, that even forms words without answering the question.

“What I will say to everyone here, speaking for myself, is I do have the confidence that I need to do my job effectively.”…but does she have the confidence of the Prime Minister? Oh wait…she didn’t answer that question.
1721171276558.jpegOn Thursday, the Globe and Mail reported that senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office are concerned by her effectiveness in the role and that relationship between the two offices has become tense. Oh well.

A mascot isn't a lifestyle.

Missssssterrrrr speeeeeeaker.
“Let me be perfectly clear…” which is followed up by anything but… every single time.
Keep in mind the above video is at least a year old back when Poilievre wore glasses. Two sources said the view of some senior officials within the PMO, including chief of staff Katie Telford, is that Ms. Freeland has been ineffective in selling the government’s economic policies, which have come under assault from Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre….for years…
