Blackie, sounds like France is having some kind’a election now also. Being closer physically to that than the rest of us, can you offer some insight on their riots, etc…?
Marine Le Pen’s National Rally is set to fall well short of an absolute majority in the French legislative election on Sunday (Monday AEST), according to projections from two polling companies.
France has been shaken by the prospect of the “far-right” taking control of the government after spending more than 50 years keeping it at bay. It’s forced several other parties that had been at each other’s throats to swallow their animosity and come up with a largely unified electoral front in order to see off the threat, etc…

Here’s a weird one. It seems in most news stories there’s political positions consistent with Left, Left of Center, Center, & FAR Right…like for example: “Some luxury boutiques along the Champs Elysees boulevard, including the Louis Vuitton store, barricaded windows and Darmanin said he was deploying 30,000 police amid concerns of violent protests should the far-right win.”

Remember, though, that this is a Parliamentary Election and not a Presidential election, so Le Pen won't actually become President.

Reform UK are polling second amongst 16-17 year old boys showing that not all the youth are crazed Lefties. And the thing is these 16-17 year old boys will be eligible to vote in the 2029 election. Watch out, Labour! Reform are coming for you!
