Lee Anderson, the Conservative MP for Ashfield, has told illegal immigrants to "F*ck off back to France."

This comes after illegal immigrants have claimed they are afraid of water and so cannot live on Britain's illegal immigrant barge Bibby Stockholm despite crossing over to Britain from France on dinghies...

Classy bunch, those Tories.

Not quite as classy as all those illegal immigrants happily crossing over from France on dinghies now suddenly claiming they're afraid of water after being told they're to be housed on the Bibby Stockholm iilegal immigrant barge. There suddenly seems to be an unusually large proportion of "doctors and engineers" entering Britain suffering from aquaphobia. They're aren't happy now the Tories aren't housing them in five star hotels.

So. . . your point is that you expect no better standard of speech and conduct from Tory MPs than you do from illegal immigrants.

Well, can't see that you'll be disappointed, having set the bar.

Wow, when you said barge, above is not what I was picturing to be honest.

The Bibby Stockholm - which is in Dorset on England's south west coast - is able to house 506 illegals.

The barge also contains healthcare provision, catering facilities, a multi-faith prayer room, a gym and 24-hour security.

It's basically a floating apartment block.

Dorset protested against having the barge, but the Tories dismissed their protests and so the barge arrived in Portland on 17th July.

Illegal immigrants crossing over from France will stay on the barge until the Government decides whether to allow each one to stay or to kick them back out. It's much better than housing them in five star hotels, as has been happening over the last three or four years.

Anderson is representing the views of his Ashfield constituents. The job of an MP is to represent the views of his or her constituents in Parliament. You Americans call MPs "Representatives."

Anderson should seriously consider running for the Tory leadership. He'd make a great PM. He'd do a better job than Sunak.

:No, we call MPs "retarded Brits on the government tick."

And Anderson is representing the views of his Tory constituents.

Well, that's democracy for you.

His constituents not happy with his views were obviously on the losing side.

For the record, 70% of the Ashfield constituency voted Brexit in 2016.

And like a lot of people who voted for Brexit, they likely regret doing so now. ;)

Ahhh, Regrexit. You mean that petition in which a shitload of fraudulent names ended up having to be taken out of?

Regrexit is a myth, and you have fallen for it. But knowing you, that doesn't surprise me.

There was a petition?

All I saw were interviews with people who voted Brexit and then were asked how they felt about it after the fact and there were regrets.

Didn't think listening to actual people give their actual opinion would be 'myth'... (btw, I did post links to two videos before)

Then again, anything you don't like you automatically claim is not true anyway so your denial that people regretting Brexit exist isn't a shock.

Nah, just a myth, you're right. 😉

I'm still moreso indifferent to it all, it's the lying to get it done and people like Blackie who have made it a 'thing' though.
It is typical of island cultures to consider themselves unique and superior. Especially when they are the lesser sons of great fathers.

And seriously, who doesn't want to see the Brits piss off? They're famous for being even worse travellers than the Yanks.

But I'm sure you'd be fine if they got sick and died, eh Blackie?

That would be 55% of the people they asked. All depends on how the question is worded and where you poll.
