Here's the TLDR - guy was arrested by the cops and during the chase he tossed a loaded handgun into a school yard. where the kids play. The judge let him off because he's black to give him another chance in life. Guy got arrested again with a loaded handgun down his pants.

And - here's the shocker - HE WASN"T A LAWFUL LICENSED GUN OWNER!!!! - how is this even POSSIBLE!!

I think people are starting to get really sick of the revolving door "give him a chance because he's non white" bullshit.

While glocks are generally pretty safe striker based guns, it's hard to imagine that he had it with the intent to use it in a safe and responsible fashion.

And as the article notes - this is becoming a regular weekly story - person does crime often violent, person is released with next to no consequence because they are first nations or black or whatever marginalized group is popular, person reoffends within short time and public is put in danger or someone is actually killed.

Violent crime is going up year after year since 2017 with a brief pause in 2020 (covid) but back to it in 2021 and 2022. And by a pretty fair margin. And it seems like it's just escalating.

And traditionally it's been druggies killing druggies and gangs killing gangs. That's not good but you knew if you weren't a gangster or druggie type you were pretty safe. Now - it's just random and out of control.

It's got to stop.

During the previous Liberal govt, violent crime and homicides were trending upwards. Not drastically but they were trending upwards. Under the previous Conservative govt, violent crime and homicides were trending downward, in the middle of a global recession. There were a couple of years where the trend ticked upward a bit but all in all the trend was on a downward swing. Enter Trudeau. Since he became PM incidents of murder and other violent crime started to skyrocket the first goddam year he was in office. Can't blame the pandemic because it was still 4 years away and according the govt, the economy was just trucking along on all 8.
On top of that, this govt is doing everything it can to disarm law-abiding gun owners while molly coddling violent criminals based on their skin colour or age.
