Define what you mean by peaceful.
If you mean no destruction of anything, no burning, no looting, sure it's peaceful.
If you mean no threats against citizens who live in Ottawa if they wear masks, if you mean no disrespectfulness what so ever anywhere... well, not so peaceful it seems.

You will have to show me proof of that accusation. The stories I heard were mostly that the protesters were being respectful.
I will be the first to agree that blocking the roads etc is illegal. But, when the BLM/Anifta people and the natives etc were not forcibly removed during those protests, sort of sets a precedent, don't you think? The law doesn't go both ways, it has to be consistent for all.

These politicians and MSM who spew garbage when they don't know the facts, despite thousands of hours of video, show how disingenuous they are and how they couldn't be bothered to actually find out for themselves what is happening. Well, Mr. Ford is wrong and siege is the incorrect term. A siege means... "a military operation in which enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off essential supplies, with the aim of compelling the surrender of those inside" and that's definitely not what is happening. The only "surrender" that is being requested is our freedom.
It's a legal protest, no violence, they've adhered to the "no honking" and Ottawa should be pleased b'cuz they're saving money by having the convoy there - picked up garbage, shoveled walks, freely feeding everyone who wants something to eat, including the homeless - wow - really dangerous people there. Besides, Ottawa is the Capital and belongs to ALL Canadians. Ottawa citizens need to understand our rights and as long as we are not blocking lanes (like the Ambassador bridge - I don't agree with that), but even the police (on video) have said that there are allowances for emergency vehicles and that everyone has been peaceful. The taking of fuel & other supplies are also illegal but we'll leave that to the lawyers to sort out.
Ford is being irresponsible but even more, Trudeau is not only irresponsible but is an ass. Both are an embarrassment and the world see them for what they are. The world is actually amazed that our protests have been so peaceful and have nothing but contempt for Trudeau from some of the articles I've read.
Wonder if the protests in France will be as peaceful? I'm proud of our Truckers, support them & wish them well. Trudeau needs to resign and my hope is that, if there are enough MP's from the Liberal Party to start stepping up to support Canadians, maybe that will come true. Likely wishful thinking but I can still hope.
