Well, DC is having its annual snow"storm" (about two inches (5 cm)), expecting around 4-6 total (10-15 cm).

Watching my neighbors pathetically and futilely struggling to get their tactical SAVs up a gentle, well-paved incline reminds me that it's uncharitable to laugh at the misfortune of others.

Damn funny though.

I shouldn't be mean. Many of these people are from no-snow places (Washington is a VERY transient town), and we don't get enough snow for them to get experience. Still, I'm amused at the number of people who think that upgrading from their cute li'l coupes or small sedans to a $70,000 Mercedes SAV automatically gives them the skills to drive on snow and ice.
