"It is now clear that we were wrong, and for that I apologize," Kenney said.

Alberta has declared a state of public health emergency and is taking immediate action to stave off the ongoing crisis in the health-care system, the premier said.

Seeing how it's an international issue that start before covid, what do you think it will take to fix the staffing shortages?

According to a newscast on the CBC National, a survey of health care workers reveal 60% of those who remain are planning to leave the industry within the next year.

Why is it so bad?

They already hired 250+ of the 350 needed. The money plans were already put forth as well. It was in my news feed yesterday or Tuesday.

Have a listen to the CBC White Coat Black Art podcast from last Sunday if you think it's a one province problem. For your own Province rewind a few years and review the staffing cuts done by Wynnebag for starters. You started a thread about it.
