Biological age may slow down by more than three years in just eight weeks through DNA methylation, new research shows.

DNA methylation is a biological process by which methyl groups are added to the DNA molecule. DNA methylation prevents the expresseion of certain genes, such as those that cause tumors to grow, potentially preventing the development of diseases and, in this case, cancer.

Slowing down the biological age may be possible through diet and lifestyle, says the research, a first-of-its-kind peer-reviewed study, It offers scientific evidence that changes in both lifestyle and diet can lead to a faster way to slow biological age.

The research may offer the first understanding into the plausibility of using natural modifications to target epigenetic processes in which cells grow into organs. The natural modification may enhance wellbeing and probably prolong lifespan.

According to a Medical Xpress report, the reduction in age through diet and lifestyle was based on data measured by the Horvath 2013 DNAmAge clock which determines biological age according to indicators in the DNA.

Diet, exercise, and probiotics...

An interesting side note(s) is that a human fat cell contains fat that is 95% from CARBS...obesity is a major comorbidity along with C-19, and bill gates wants to ban meat.

Northern Ontario,
That's true, Now I ain't for banning meat but Years ago my weight was 220lbs .
The wife and I decided to change the way we ate. we still ate meat but concentrated on more green vegetables.
In six months I had dropped down to 155lb- 160lb range, and I've stayed in that range!
I then filled out a life insurance questionnaire on line with my old weight.
My life expectancy was 81 years.
with my new weight, I was expected according to this life insurance, to live to a ripe old age of 97......

I dropped from 225 down to 160 using lazy intermittent fasting and a garden and I am starting to see perfect blood pressure as long as I don't eat refined carbs.
But once I figured out butter goes great on vegetables and doesn't wreck my BP, it's all good.

I have to agree about the vegetables, though I also use a lot of forage because there is a lot around here.

Northern Ontario,
Good for you, a lot of people don't realize that eating right makes a lot of difference in their health

High blood pressure and cholesterol also run in my family, and I dropped from 4 pills to 2 per day

I did it with no pills and 240/140 (off the scale) down to normal in the last three years. I did tell my Dr: "if anything breaks or snaps or needs stiches, it's all yours, I know my limits." though. I just figured try what's least invasive first.
eta
I bought a BP cuff - that really helped figure things out too - 40 bucks on amazon.
