Because when a gas, or a mixture of gases like air, is heated up the molecules move further apart, making it less dense.
Then why will the molecules move apart when the gas is heated?

These are some observations, and you explain them in some way, but if you look carefully, you can realize another explanation is true, so you only take the surface appearance not the deep reason. And you will know the repelling between the hot molecules as the interpreter (who did not graduate at any primary school); he was right in his understanding. And that your British school is not the ultimate end of science.

What kind of life? An amoeba?
All kinds of life: micro and macro organisms including the plant, animal and man (of course not the man of Earth, but I think he may be to much extent similar to Earth's man.
Not only on Mars, but also on the planets beyond Mars and may be on some of the large moons of these planets: where water is available, life will be there.
The planets are inhabited

How we realize the man of the planets is similar or about similar to Earth's man:
The meteorites falling on Earth especially in its early time of formation ... these meteoritic pieces were the previous planets of the previous solar system.. that previous solar system was inhabited by various forms of life like our solar system.. then when the previous Doomsday occurred, its planets were broken up into many pieces.. some of these pieces fell on our Earth in its early formation... and they became the mountains of our Earth, and they carried the seed of life to our Earth.

The meteorites which carried the seed of life to our Earth came from four planets that were destroyed in the previous Doomsday.. for this reason you see the diversity of life forms on Earth, including also the four human races: each race might have come from one or more planets.

Therefore, we see, e.g. the life forms of Australia differ so much from other parts of the Earth.

It may be the same life forms were carried to the rest of the planets, like Earth in this respect.. i.e. it may be the pieces of the previous planets fell also on the rest of the present planets, and so the life forms will be similar or about similar to the life forms on our Earth ... with some diversity: like the difference between the black, the yellow, the red and the white human races and the difference between the animals and plants of America, Africa, Asia, Australia ... etc.

Life is transmittable (or migrant)

The interpreter of the Quran and the Bible told me: it may be a winged human race may be created on the planets including so many mountains; such man use such wings to avoid the danger of falling from high places, like the hen when it falls from a high place it uses its wings so that it will not be hurt by the fall... for this reason, some angels are winged having two wings like birds or four wings like butterflies.
Because the angels are souls or spiritual beings and were human beings in their material life then when they died they became the angels.

All heat is is how fast the atoms in an object move. A warmer object means its atoms are moving faster than a colder object. In a solid, atoms stay in one place but vibrate. If you heat that object up the atoms vibrate faster. Once it reaches a certain temperature the atoms of the object are vibrating so much that they break free of the bonds holding them together as a solid and move freely about - so the solid is now a gas or a liquid. The same applies in gases and liquids - the hotter a gas or liquid is, the faster its atoms move. Moving around faster and more energetically means the atoms are more likely to move further apart from each other - which is why when you heat a gas it expands and becomes less dense.

When you pump hot air into a hot air balloon it cause the balloon to rise. This is because hot air is less dense than the cooler air around it so it rises up above the denser cooler air. Inside the hot air balloon, this rising of the less dense hot air pushes the balloon upwards.

So most solids are denser than liquids and most liquids are denser than gases. So when a solid becomes a liquid or a liquid becomes a gas it becomes less dense. One exception to the rule is water - water as a solid is less dense than it is as a liquid, which is why icebergs float. The fact that ice floats on water is actually a strange oddity.

I know all this.. but why don't you understand it in another way, which will also explain such observations correctly: the hot gas will repel the hot center of the earth. This explanation gives a better view and a better explanation of many other observations.

How do you explain the fact that Pluto, which is very very cold (-240C), has five moons - Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos, Hydra - which are also very very cold?

Pluto is not a planet; anyhow, if it is big, it may preserve its hot core.. the core, not the surface is hot.
Pluto is far from us.. very far .. therefore, it is mysterious: I cannot say anything about it in this way.. and it is not a planet: how can it have moons?

I object to their logic, and you bring their same argument.

Why's it not logical? Moons have gravitational pulls as well. And some moons are larger than the planet Mercury. Jupiter's moon Ganymede and Saturn's moon Titan are both larger than Mercury.

And Pluto isn't a moon.

At the moment, there are no known moons with moons, but it is possible. It is thought that Saturn's moon Iapetus may once have had a moon.
