Well, technically, they are not yet back to normal. Still, they're probably one of the best countries in the world that handled this pandemic well.

It doesn't matter how they don't work, all that matters is that they don't work.
And if that munter schoolgirl that runs New Zealand thinks she can get "Zero Covid" then she's going to be disappointed. Covid is here to stay and we're going to have to start living with it without lockdowns and social distancing, just like we do with cold and flu.
You don't evaluate evidence at all, much less with any complexity or subtlety.They work so well that everytime they take us out of one they quickly put us back into another one.
That doesn't fit my definition of "working."
And funny thing, all the masking has kept the cold and flu stats down this year.
(and NZ beats out the UK in being smart when it comes to Covid).
