Funny how when Trump and his wife are stricken with the virus he suddenly refers to it as Covid-19. What happened to the Chinese virus or the Kung-flu? Interesting...

You don't REALLY think he'd contract one of THOSE diseases do you?

Ooh wah...

Skeet Surfin'...
Skeet Surfin'...
If everybody had a 12 gauge
With a sufboard too
You see em shootin and surfin'
From here to Malibu

Because it's totally bitchin'
Ridin waves and blastin' pigeons
And its a' neat shootin' skeet when youre ridin' on the heavies all day

First Wave (shoot shoot)
Don't get tired
Second Wave (shoot shoot)
Aim higher
Third Wave (shoot shoot)
Pull it and fire

Skeet Surfin' (it's all right)

Waxin' down our surfboards
And loadin' up our traps
Tell the teacher we're shootin'
And never comin' back

I've got a gun rack in my Chevy
For when the surf and the flak get heavy
And we'll have fun with our guns until the lifeguard takes our ammo away

First wave (shoot shoot)
Don't get tired
Second Wave (shoot shoot)
Aim higher
Third Wave (shoot shoot)

Which means absolutely S.F.A. Cancer can be just as deadly and is generally determined AFTER tests have been done.

Bingo! And I posted the same. Many cancers can be asymptomatic for a period of time, as was my husbands. And many screenings can detect deadly cancers early enough to treat it to greater success.

What's wrong with calling it Chinese flu or Chinese virus?

The early bird gets the worm. Most of us die with a cancer of some sorts but not necessarily of cancer.

On a October spooky Halloween note, sometimes a cancer is actually our twin brother or sister.

I know, right? Spooky and spookily true.

Boo!

Like testicular cancer, with its 98% survival rate.

Are you combining all SEER stages for testicular cancer in that number? Because all SEER stages combined speaks of a 5 year survival rate of 95%, which is great. But a diagnosis in the distant SEER stage has a 5 year survival rate of about 73%. Still A good number but also factored in to those numbers that would have an impact on survival rates are how the cancer responds to treatment, at what stage it is detected, a patient's age, overall health condition, type of testicular cancer and how far the cancer has spread before being detected.

But while we're here lets talk about cervical cancer which often goes undetected until later stages. It has a survival rate of 17% in a distant SEER stage. And there's pancreatic cancer, one of the worst with a 5 year survival rate of 3% in it's often late stage diagnosis, which too has spread.

The point you are missing is that there are deadly diseases out there that go undetected.

Funny you should say boo. I have seen second hand the dark underbelly of cancer, having watched my husband battle it (to great success, thankfully) and it still scares the crap out of me. It's a bitch of a disease.
