Trudeau is still young. He is maturing in a tough world of nasty politics..
Things have changed considerably since then....... Hopefully more evolved too What was ok before is not ok now. Just as what was not ok then......is ok now. Societal change can be slow.......and yet not particularly now with the communications we all have in place.
I would not have saddled future generations with insurmountable debt . That is for sure .
At the risk of creating chaos? How many thousands would you have resorted to seeing begging in the streets. How many abandoned houses and apartment etc. would you tolerate? How much added stress and strain on the hospitals would you stand for when people succumb to worry and panic and nervous breakdowns? How much armed robbery would you tolerate from people merely trying to put food in their mouths. The only problem I have is people WITH means taking advantage of the system as money is being shovelled out the back door because financial checks weren't done!

I find a lot of things that Trudeau has done as questionable. but given his youth....I am hoping he will mature into something a lot better. Whether it will happen that way is still and unknown quantity. If you thin that the cons would be better..........well.......THAT is where the Kool Aid pitcher is.
He's leader of one of the G20 countries. It is past time that he "matured". That should gave been happening while he was an mp. Obviously that's not what happened.
