Prices go up when you stop developing something.

Maybe one day they'll go up enough to be profitable!

Gas is up ten cents a litre here in a week - simply because of the opening of garden centres and a few stores!

Used to be a ten cent a litre price change was Earth shaking - now people shrug!

Prices also go up as demand rises, kinda like when multiple major national economies start up.

Except for the fact that demand is down and national economies haven't started up.

Other than that completely obvious fact that escaped you and three other total idiots in this forum, you're correct. :D

In the real world though, the prices are going back up because they are closing them pipes in Russia and UE.

Enjoy!

Au contraire mon frere... just read the news and these multiple national economies that have been turned-off, will be switched back on again in the coming weeks, just in time for driving season here in NorAm.

That said, I do have to applaud the various Fed gvts for having the insight to do it slowly such that the crazy demand for oil, gas, diesel, etc won't be so huge that it creates a mini oil crises that drives the price of a bbl way past $150

Even better news for Cdn oil.

I surely will

Oil is dead . For now , but wait for a resurgence once the lockdown is over .Expect more people choosing to avoid public transit and drive to work instead . More will be taking driving holidays to avoid air travel . Yes the great North American love of the automobile will continue.

TRUE DAT!

Went by the garden centre today for grass seed and the parking lot was JAMMED!

Yes - full of cars powered by GASOLINE!

And it occurs to me that hemerHOID might get part of his wish fulfilled!

The number of low cost electric bikes on our roads might SOAR this summer as people seek more private and exclusive

means of travelling so as to avoid packed public buses!

We shall see.........................

Yes - I am lurking outside on sunny days in hope of ambushing and interrogating the teen who lives near me and who BOUGHT an

electric bike made in China an it looks rather like a Kawasaki Ninja! It is powerful enough that it needs license and insurance and he

bought the thing in spring 2019 and rode it through the summer - then stored it in a garage for the winter............

And here we are in spring 2020 and the weather has been warm recently and yet I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM ON IT!

It is possible that he is having money troubles and cannot afford license or insurance etc?

It is ALSO POSSIBLE that his bike battery FROZE UP in the unheated garage and is now NON FUNCTIONING!

I will do my best to pick his brains next time I see him to find out what`s up with the electric TOY !

One lone season of riding before the thing BREAKS - seems rather COSTLY!

And the battery in the bike is big enough and heavy enough that it would likely have been a problem to dismantle and bring into the

house so it would not FREEZE!

Inquiring minds already know that electric TOY vehicles HAVE CRAP RANGE to begin with and the range drops drastically as

the battery ages - but I would like to know if the battery on the TOY bike has been wrecked

after enduring ONE Cdn winter!!
