Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Foreign Secretary and First Secretary of State Dominic Raab, who is effectively the Deputy PM and currently running Britain while Johnson is in hospital, has just said this from Downing Street:

He said the PM was "receiving standard oxygen treatment and breathing without any assistance".

The foreign secretary says Boris Johnson is "receiving the very best care from the excellent medical team" and remained stable overnight.

He also says he remains in "good spirits" and his progress continues to be monitored closely.

Mr Raab says there has "been a groundswell of messages of support" and everyone is wishing the prime minister a very speedy recovery.

He adds: "It comes as a shock to all of us. He is not just a prime minister, not just our boss, but also a colleague and also our friend."

He adds: "I'm confident he will pull through because if there is one thing that I know about this prime minister is he is a fighter and he will be back leading us through this crisis in short order."

And he says the cabinet will not "blink or flinch from the task at hand".

He confirms the total number of deaths in the UK has now reached 6,159, and pays tribute to those who have died.

Is there anything in Canada's lockdown rules which states that everyone has to be at home 24/7?

Are people not allowed to buy food, go to and from work and go for a walk?

Persons with symptoms, yep there is, make arrangements to get groceries and essentials dropped off at your door. Didn't you read the posts were persons suppose to be in isolation were fined for being out and about?

I'm talking about Canada's whole population. Is nobody allowed out? How will you get food?

If I see anybody again telling me that I have to stay at home, when I don't (I'm allowed to buy food, otherwise I will die, go to and from work and go out for exercise), I'm afraid I'll have to hunt them down and brutally murder them.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Vladimir Putin said Boris Johnson’s “energy, optimism and sense of humour” would help him defeat coronavirus.

In a “telegram” to Mr Johnson, the Russian president said: “Dear Prime Minister,

“I would like to express my sincere support to you during this difficult time.

"I am certain that your energy, optimism and sense of humour will help to defeat the illness.

"I sincerely wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

"Respectfully yours,

“Vladimir Putin”

The message was sent the same time Putin's spokesman bizarrely claimed that Britain had not sought Moscow’s help to cure the prime minister.

He was cited by RIA Novosti as saying London “has not asked Russia for help in curing Johnson from coronavirus”.

British doctors “will be able to take care of him themselves”, said the report.

Suppose to just get essentials and then back to isolation you go, unless you are an essential worker, can move around your own property as long as you follow social distancing.

Are you too dumb to understand if you are healthy, follow the main rules and use common sense, 99% of the time no one will bother you? Attitudes like yours attract the cops like bees to honey. YOUR best bet is to back off remain silent and speak when you are spoken to! :)

The public doesnt need masks. It's all fluff.

My sister in law made one each for the wife and I. I don't count on it too much to protect me but I do notice it puts others in close proximity to (like 6 - 20') a little more at ease around me. It pays dividends in that peoples smile at you instead of snarl.

Dominic Raab, 46, the Cabinet novice now running the country: Self-styled 'tough guy boxer' has a Muhammed Ali poster in his Commons office and believes karate helped him through the cancer death of his Czech father who fled the Nazis

Dominic Raab is now the UK's de facto prime minister after Boris Johnson was hospitalised, with the running of the country placed in the hands of a man who has just one year of Cabinet experience. Mr Johnson has asked the Foreign Secretary and First Secretary of State to deputise for him while he fights coronavirus in a London intensive care unit. The elevation of Mr Raab to the top political job in the country completes a meteoric rise for the former Foreign Office lawyer. He is a karate black belt and says the sport helped him through the death of his father Peter (bottom centre and bottom right as a young family, and bottom left with his sister and grandomthers). He is also an Oxford University boxing blue (left). He is married to a Brazilian, Erika (together right).

I've not had any trouble with the police.

Greater Manchester seems to be a beacon of freedom and democracy compared to Derbyshire and London.

Everyday after work I've been walking past a police station drinking my beer (it's legal in England and Wales to drink alcohol in the streets) with loads of cop cars and vans going past me with no trouble whatsoever.

So my attitude does NOT attract the attention of the cops.
