Their have been attacks both physically and verbally. It's your standard dog Whistle approach. Remember GWB visiting a Mosque after 9/11 in NY? Trump does the opposite of that. You wont do it and I suspect no one here will but some will and these words give them a push.

Chinese food comes from China. China and her food were around long before San Francisco.

You are making up stories . Asians are fully integrated into Canadian society and are not attacked due to ethnic origins .

Actually if you do some research you will find many Chinese dishes popular in N.America were in fact first cooked in SAN Francisco.
