It simply is not smart to play the blame game in a situation like this. Are you implying that the Chinese leadership DELIBERATELY started this virus from some lab?? Reality check ......please.

What do you want?? the whole world to get some revenge on China?? How civilized is that?

If anyone should be held to account......it is your lunatic of a hero........who first described this virus as some democratic hoax. Now THAT warrants consequences. Because of his bullcrap for the first period of the situation........ doing what is necessary was delayed. They are still fighting over testing......as some tests are not functional . I think they handled it reasonably well once it took hold. It's pretty tough to monitor 11/2 billion people. We're just lucky it was confined to one area of China.

Perhaps it is important to remember that all this is temporary. It will pass.In the meantime , we should all behave responsibly.....hand washing, personal distancing , stay home......and even learn new hobbies............ while experiencing something as massive as a world pandemic. We are luckier than the people who lived and died during the plague....... as they did not have the resources, the education, and the knowledge that we do today.

most important: everyone on here .....and else where.....stay healthy........and if one gets it......one just has to deal with it. Have a home/ domestic protocol. Family members should all participate actively. and know the procedure should one get ill. Rule of thumb? act like you are carrying the virus.........and don't hoard. One person is not more important than another. This virus should be telling folks that. Have a summary of your medical history and medication list handy ......just in case you need it. Be ready , not afraid. Keep your immune system up.Eat healthy, sleep healthy, exercise......yes one can do so indoors or in back yard, and drink plenty of fluids. Multivitamins a good idea too. Live in the moment.........one day at a time.

Are you talking about China?? I totally agree. they had a massive unprecedented situation to deal with. I am just thrilled to hear that they have had no new patients in the last 26 to 48 hrs. I don't think for moment that they are not aware of how bad it looks for them.......... if one chooses to see it that way. The rapidity with which it was evolving would be a Challenger for any country.

It is a certain breed of bad that when threatened ....releases t this virus. That is as close to understand how it started as they know at the moment. The facts could change.....as more data is reviewed and assessed.

IF ever the human race should be helpful to each other ........ and countries supportive of each other....it is now. Only fools make it political or play the blame game.

I just heard that too. CNN and CTV reporting.

Florida should do the same........The kids on spring break are ignoring all the rules.

"Blame" is one of the worst words in the English language, not withstanding the fact that it can be appropriate, it more often than not just makes things worse.

I saw something on the news that Californians were told 25 million of them could become infected. That is nothing short of fear mongering, not to mention lying & can only make things much worse than they are!

agree. We just have to filter out that kind of fear mongering.........and NOT respond to it. Exposure to t his current 24?7 Media virus coverage could give one an ulcer and anxiety. Not worth it ;-) It is bad. we know that.....but some perspective is called for. This virus thing is like crap shoot. If one get it.........one just has to deal with it. So being prepared is important. and it won't last forever. On a "cheerful" note.......thee will be more in the future.....so this could be a major practice run ;-)
