Walter sees all economic activity in terms of goods produced. Same mistake the Soviets made. They focussed so much on production (because of Marx), they underinvested in transportation. So their grain rotted in the silos waiting for shipping.

Again, under his notion of "capitalism," you either pay for fire service or you don't. If you don't and your house catches fire, good luck and maybe a neighbor will donate a bucket.
I hope you understand that at the inception of fire services (about 200 years back), many of them were set up that way. So were many early police forces. When there was a break-in at a shop, the first thing the cops checked was whether the owner was a paying customer. If not, oh well. . .

Don't know where you get your stupid from. Sucking exhaust pipes on ambulances? I put in many unpaid hours as a firefighter. Pay huge taxes to cover the cost of equipment and training too. Did I mention we voted a $200 a year tax increase to get a much needed replacement fire hall? What I do resent is the amount of money the bureaucraps siphon out of the system to look after us.

Where it failed is that no one was paid to give a sh*t, the grain belonged to the socialist Gov. the workers got their pittance whether they delivered the grain or not, may as well sit in the shade and drink vodka it paid the same.

China isn't really a socialist country anymore, more of a totalitarian Gov. all business has Gov. as a partner not as an administrator, where they share in profits. Workers are paid wages and pay taxes on salary, goods and services, much like our current Gov. is trying to structure Canada, new resource and major infrastructure projects have to buy off the Gov. first.

Passengers funded cargo and mail Freight rates will either skyrocket or tank. Ebay and Amazon suspending operations would fix that issue in a hurry.
