For lying. Exactly. Trump lied, too, and then tried to prevent witnesses' testimony and other evidence, as well.
sure he did and more.........but that is just fine with the Trump cult. He can do as he wants.......with no limits, boundaries or even legal restrictions. That has become blatantly clear in the last few months. But let anyone else try that behavior and watch those "principled" family values Reps go crazy bent out of shape. Interesting to note that those "values" emerge only when they are trashing a democrat.Go figure.

Lying can be a pretty nebulous term, especially in a court of law. For one thing there is very little in the way of consistency. While it's a point for another discussion could it not be characterized as "lying" when a guilty suspect submits a plea of not guilty? For another thing lying is not ALWAYS wrong. Are you really supposed to tell a sick person they look horrible? What about when you are asked a question you feel is none of the other person's business, yet you don't want to get your face rearranged? "Lying" is kind of a convenient catchall!

Don't dig yourself too big of a hole, Annie! And don't forget, EVERYONE lies!
lol You're the one digging.
Yes, everyone lies, but that doesn't make lying good. People once thought smoking tobacco was good, too.
But I understand their confusion after Trump & Cohort undercutting virtues by making dishonesty, dishonour, cruelty, incongruity, etc. the norm.
